I really enjoy my UDES 14 5, and it is a "free" tech tree tank. Today the Lansen C is on sale, and now I wonder what you how have played both say.

Is the Lansen worth the gold?

I have seen the blatant stupid difference about alpha damage on same caliber guns, but let us leave that aside for the moment...

Any input?

I loved it, 3 mark grinded it on stream.

lovely gun, with great gun depression and nice mobility. Can also pull off miracle bounces more than the UDES can on the turret, but don’t rely on it.

The last time it was available I checked reviews on it out

The  'compromise' balance QB and others mention is the dispersion reliability .

Shoots just like the 14 5, meaning shots will drop over distance. And not the same nice speedy projectiles, but that was to be expected. 2 games so far, seems nice enough!

I like Lansen more than the UDES but that gun is really trollish, even fully aimed shots can miss easily. Otherwise it is OK, but T-44-100, Pinocchio, Skoda T27, Centurion 5/1 and a lot of others are much better premiums in my opinion.

I got all of those but the T-44-100, and they are all nice. Not that many games in the T27, which seems to be the worst of them tbh. But out of 4 games so far, I have had 4 wins in the Lansen C.

The size of it seems to benefit my playstyle. I like to hide in a bush from time to time, and it is small enough to actually fit some.

The lack of armor is obvious, so far I have blocked 320...

I also lack a bit top speed in the Lansen, that is for sure. It could have used 5-6km/h more. Now it feels nimble maneuvering, but sluggish on the longer hauls. I would not have a chance keeping up with Proseccos for example.

Lansen C is a good tank.

Nice buy if you like stealth meds with nice gun depression and alright alpha damage.

(Albeit with #PaperArmor as well...)

Edit

The Lansen is shooting very straight today, I just took it out

(no prizes for guessing why)

When the gun shoots straight it's brill
