Why does WOT discriminate against players who live in certain countries and cannot buy large boxes? Is against EU law.

Boxes = gambling.
To be honest, Belgium is correct in this. Wish more countries did that, then maybe WG will be forced to actually sell us individual items that me might be looking for from those boxes.

Individual countries have their own laws covering this topic. Belgium springs to mind.

UK government had said they will look into this.

That is sad, because its been a bit of fun opening boxes to see what is inside, however I do understand that some people have less control than others and the "nanny state" wants to protect the most vulnerable in society, and its easier to blanket ban than to find an alternative solution.

Who’s talking about banning them so stop with the hyperbole.

That awkward moment when a company following the law of a country is discriminating against people of said country.

What would you have WG do, OP: outright disregard the law or circumvent it by telling people to go through loopholes? Both of which would get them in trouble, by the way.

Either way, anyone with half a brain can figure out by themselves on how to go around the problem, I'm sorry if you're not part of that exclusive elite.

Firstly, you should look up what discriminate means because it doesn't mean what you think it means. Secondly, blame your own government if you have issue with WG not being able to sell you stuff.

And that's why. Nothing WG can do about those boxes for you.

Tbh. Considering there is content you can only get in those boxes. Those nations could get the option to buy the stuff directly. Even if it was overpriced.

Thank the EU for saving you all those Euros. They were great fun to open and I've received some amazing items, but you still have all your money.

.......

Wth Wg have to do with that.....

Its your own Belgium government that holds up the Eu law that you cant sell those boxes without telling the win chances.

Basicly every Eu country  should uphold the law....but none  do except for Belgium.....i really suprised that the Dutch can buy them

because our government is also pro EU and all its laws.

Those nations are upholding the law .

The problem is the rest of the Eu country's do not uphold the law  (because of huge money).

IF every Eu country wil uphold the law you must see how fast Wg will make the boxes Eu frendly.

Because its only a small problem....the boxxes themselfs are not the problem....the problem is Wg dont want to tell the % of prices /winchance is in them.

So praise to the Belgium government to protect there people instead of going for the money....

And yes i know Belgium wont make any money on Wg boxes but it has to do with bigger gamble sites, casino's ect.

So all Belgiums should right letters to other governments about this(becuase Wg is small and they fly under the radar) ...so we all cant buy boxes in 2020.

I bet ya 2021 we will get lootboxes with the win % in it.

Because every loot box sell in the Eu is a illegal sell at the moment.

Just to rub salt into the OP's wounds.  I only had to buy 3 boxes and received 2 tier 8 tanks.

Oh what joy to be not-discriminated against.  The drop rate was absolutely astounding this year.

You can't lose money, please explain how you are gambling?

It's a free prize draw, not a gamble.
