Been playing alot of LT's lately and what has become apparent, since team damage was removed, is the meta seems to be try and get the other LT's on your team killed by pushing them out of position. So many games I get into position only to find another LT is sat behind me, what's going on!

You forget the whining of lazy TDs and other heavily armoured tanks who expect "spotting"whilst they hide in double bush safety 400m away.

Always staggers me that others expect the LT to take 100% of the risk for a team.

It`s always been like this, nothing new. Poor camo tanks sit behind you to get you shot while unspoted and so on. Before, sometimes i would even get tracked when enemy made a push just so i would get killed because i did not want to suicide so that the type5 redline sniper* MAYBE gets one shot off.

I for one like the no damage to ally, even if i had alot of fun taking the tracks off my platoon friend`s tank.

well if you are in a position close enough for a team mate to push you then you arent doing much of a spot are you?

The meta of sitting in a bush all game is dead anyway.

It happens rarely, for me and I play LT's almost 80-90% of the time. You should be relocating often in a LT anyway

If i've made a good spotting position and they come up behind beside me, I just move on, plenty other places to spot active or otherwise,.. you dont know the camo rating of their tank and not worth getting shot at just for that.

What’s more of a concern to me is moving into a very good spotting position, lighting up over half of their team and being rewarded with only 350 spotting damage because your team are hopeless

Your fault, as your team mates are out of range and/or trying to shoot the enemy EBR & your arty is still looking for a shelter ...

Arty players should finally start to learn that they can take the first shot before having to move to cover in almost every map. The first shot is one of the most important ones as the targets are in the open and easy targets. Redshire is a good example of early spots yet arties almost always move halfway across the map at the start and miss the opportunity to easy targets. On top of that, arty players go to the same arty spots almost always so people know to avoid that direction... Such small changes to playing style would bring so much more better results for the them and the team.

Fixed that for you. This also applies to arty.

This really bothers me to be honest, from the very first day of t10 lights being introduced it was glaringly obvious that the MM had been screwed by the changes. Removing scout matchmaking was a disastrous idea.

They always go to making more tier 9s and 10s (yes I know its because of end game, money sink etc. etc.) but sometimes they really should look more to sideways expansion, variety is the spice of life and all that, make the vehicles more varied in how they play instead of constant upwards creeping.

As a light you must learn to deal with the enemies on the friendly team and the enemies on the enemy team

no i never sit in a bush but at the start of the game when you want to see where the enemy are deploying u use a bush

14:19 Added after 1 minute
i'd also argue that bushes and double bushing are game mechanics you should be using and if your not then your doing it wrong

I'll use the example that made me post, on lakeville at the start I rush to a bush to see whats heading to town and cliff road, i spot a heap...into sniper mode, double bushed aiming and wham! hit in the arse by a friendly LT who continues to try push me through the bush...at which point I relocate and hope im not spotted.

I don't experience much pushing, but I do get a lot of lights follow me to the exact same position.

Not sure if they are unsure how to play, so are following me to learn... or if they saw this position on a Vod and are expecting 10k spot... or as 1 guy once told me, it was his bush, he always goes there.

When it happens, if it's reasonable to reposition I will move straight away. Not helping the team with 2 lights in 1 bush. If it's not reasonable to move, just wait it out and go once you get a window.

One thing I have noticed a lot if is traditional sniping spots not being taken, with early spotting  going to waste. Even after using chat in battle and pinging the minimap signalling my intention to spot a certain area early.
