Try play the game in safe mode for a few matches to see if mods are the problem. (https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wot/article/10250/

If that doesn't fix the problem, try for check for new GPU drivers and see if that does anything.

Game ran out of video memory?  Restarting the game would probably be enough to fix it.

Well I checked the hard drive, tons of memory on it, removed the mod again, yet to try it his morning but the weird thing is I tried a battle or two in WoW's no problem there whatsoever..

Yet to do an windows update, but it is funny how this is just happened now and never ever before.

For a while the game used to periodically turn the ground the colour of water or the sky, it was pretty annoying. Turned the graphics mode from ultra to high and stopped using mods and it never happened after that.

the worst case scenario is your GPU is nearing it's death

Simple it is just a language issue.......................

Black market = Black carpet

Some dev at wargamming was asked about the future Black market and if he could program the code in ready and test it, unfortunatly he thought they said black carpet so carpeted the map in black grass :)

That's not the kind of memory in question... He means VRAM, your GPU's RAM, not storage, not motherboard RAM.

There were two micropatches today, possibly they broke something for a mod you're using, you know the drill.

Always keep Windows updated, GPU drivers too. What GPU do you have?

When the game starts, try to hit the Windows Key and from the start menu --> standby. Wait 5 seconds then resume the Pc: what is happening?

there was a similar post in the US WoT forum, can't find it right now but it had the same weird terrain texture problems.

In my case the Fan of my videocard (GT1050) decides to stop reacting to the temperature.. the GPU really overheats and the game crashes. A standby/resume resets somehow the GPU Fan. Drivers already updated, clean system, windows updated, electrical contact dusted and so on :sceptic:

It's similar to the effect you used to get when the game had a memory leak so video or system RAM, not storage space.

It is also very similar to an effect I had on occasion (mine was watery/shiny) in the weeks leading up to my Graphics Card dying - 3 years, 1 month and a week after buying it with a 3 year warranty...

Hope yours is nothing so drastic.
