So now when there are discounts on t8 to t10 I'm thinking if I should upgrade my Tiger II to an E 75. I still have around 80k free experience left on the tank but I also have around 300k free experience available.
While I know the E 100 doesn't seem to be too good for the current meta, is the E 75 still worth it? Looks almost identical to my little king Tiger so would be sweet to have a t9 King Tiger.

Edit: Just got this beauty and must have become one of my favourites already, feels much more like I'm playing a King Tiger rather than the actual tier 8 Tiger II.

I found it more difficult and less fun to play than the Tiger II.

You can snipe with a tiger II, when the E75 is more for those who know how to brawl (sidescrap, baiting, ...).

So in other words, it plays more like a real heavy?

I should play it more to have a better perspective, but my overall impression is that the E75 is a very good tank.

Probably no less fun than Tiger II.

Yes.

(But I think it's still legal to shoot something from far away if you wish.)

Oh alright then, might get it then considering I'm quite the collectors of Tigers, with currently having Tiger 131, Japanese Tiger, Tiger, Tiger P, Tiger II, VK 45.03 (Porche Tiger II) and lastly, had a King Tiger C.
What a better way to end my collection than with an improved/modified Tiger II at t9.

E 75 in current meta

My E75 is played exclusively in the sultana meta, it just seems to suit it better. :girl:

One of the best HTs in T9, if you fully upgrade it ofc.

I loved it, even when I was noob (My first T9) and It really helped me to learn basics.

Despite years of power creep and gold ammo spam, E75 is still fantastic. You can't rely on the armor as you used to, but the mobility and gun (handling) make this thing very capable. It also has 400 view range unlike the ST-I.

I wish I played the E75 before patch 8.6.

German tanks are a garage decoration at best.

I strongly disagree. If there's one thing the E75 excels at, it's long-range pain. Slow turret traverse and good aimtime aid the cause.

I like it, very nice hull traverse makes it good for brawling too.

I even recorded a replay from a nice match a few months ago, just me sniping with the E75, with great success!

E75 does not care about meta.

It cares if you can make its armor work.

If you can, the gun it has is your prize.

It's perfectly useable.

But it's slow and gets rekt by arty.

When I grinded mine i found the 430 a better HT however...

RU bias much :sceptic:

It is based on outdated technology. Does not matter how much WG buff it, it will always comes short somewhere.
Flat Armor? Huge Profile? Shell velocity? Broken Engine?

German tanks you play for the looks and the feeling they can give you. Never expect to be the best tank on the field!

The E75 is still a formidable tier 9 HT, much better than T-10 imo ;)

the flat armor is sometimes hard to work with when getting fired at from different angles but in a 1v1 situation

it is well able to deliver it's damage and can also do some ramming :)

PS: also you have higher gun position so you can pretty easily shoot engine decks etc. at point-blank range

Missed the point.

The E75 can snipe well, that's the point, not my result or victory, but the shots.

E75 is still very good. Its a 1st line brawler and quite decent. I dont think any super unicum wil ltell you its bad.

The problem with the line are the Tiger II and the E100 which are underwhelming. E75 is definately the highlight of the line.
