In my never-ending search for suitably revealing clubwear, I experiment tirelessly on behalf of the community with lesser known tanks to assist their padding gameplay

  • Today I bring you the T-70 Russian Tier 3 Light
  • It does 45 kph on the flat
  • Sloped armour with 50mm effective
  • 45mm gun with an amazing 75mm pen AP, rapid fire, accurate, 1400 dpm
  • 59% wins in it so far

Old news. One of my best tIII tanks, and one of the first where angling can get reliable bounces.

T-127, T-15 standard seal clubbers.

Give the Pz38na a try - Full APCR load out, BiA / Vision skills, Optics, Vents, Cammo Net / Rammer, Food - over 445M VR at T4 - Perfect for Bush Wan... camping, and good mobility when you really have to press W

Can confirm, used it to good effect with the Kursk marathon from last year.

Spoiler

For some reason I have never been able to get the T-15 or T-127 to work for me.  They have also been left behind a bit as their USP was +1 MM but now all Tier III get +1 MM

The Pz38na is superb.  I use that with binos, camo and a lot of APCR

Next up, the Somua S35:

  • Good armour for a Tier 3 Medium, will bounce most hits from auto-loaders
  • Fair speed
  • Good view range
  • 1200 dpm and 66 pen AP
  • A great all-rounder that can easily pen any opponent and will bounce a lot of incoming shots
  • Greatly superior to the Pz S35

PZ III J is pretty overlooked i'd say, load it up with tons of APCR and dominate the crap out of everyone.

The M15/42 has higher average damage than any other of my tier III vehicles, including two of my favourite TDs  the Marder II and SU-76M.

It even beats many of my tier IV vehicles, including my long-term keeper, the St 39 vz.

A couple of battles.

low tiers is the only way you can truly have fun in this game at the moment. At least when you get screwed by RNG, bad teams etc you don't lose anything. In fact, you profit anyway even on a loss:trollface:

All interesting thoughts.

I'll keep popping in with a Daily Thought of the Day until I run out of clubbing ideas

And today we look at the DW2

Generally known as the Douchewagen, this is one of the most despised tanks in the game.

But....

  • +1 preferential matchmaking
  • 50mm armour, okay at tier 4, and angles well, like a mini-Tiger
  • reasonable speed
  • and WTF! the gun does 130 pen with APCR and 2120 dpm - is that for real?

An incredibly effective tank, 56% wins in it over 400 games.  It's fun to play too.

With drunken boredom at hand with my "old" account and 5 free BIA skilled crew up for grabs I returned to my free to play account to bag them. Minimum requirements for Christmas missions was T4 and so that's most where I played to bag all the goodies. But what tank did I use? As usual, mostly all solo play since teammates pis* me off mostly but what tank could demolish so many vs +2 tier battles alone and for free?

Did I feel dirty? Well maybe this track might clarify

Why feel dirty? tanks are there to play.

on that note M5A1 Stuart is also worth a look.

How about Cruiser Mk. II with derp gun and gold shells? (although HE will work most cases just as good). No other tank gives me so many one-shots per game as this one. A platoon of these is hard to beat.

Sexton 1. Can kill everything with AP or HE, usually through one shots, not even Pz 2 Js, DW2s or Pz B2s stand a chance. Decent mobility. 450m view range.

Not sure if this really counts, as I've only had a few games in it, but I have been finding my newly Xmas-box-acquired Sexton I rather effective as a clubber, and after 4 games have killed 10 enemies including several Sexton I

After just a few games it has damage ratio of 1.9 and destruction ratio of 2.7

  • Amazing range, it can hit anywhere on the map
  • Rapid fire
  • Accurate
  • Wide gun arc
  • Some AP ammo for direct fire when rear area is overrun
  • The potential to be really annoying to the enemy team
