First of all - Darling Mods, if this topic is in the wrong area, please move it at your leisure.

Now to business - I have the above tank on rental and it says the gold price is 9750.  However, I can't find how to pay in gold.

Yes, I should know better after all I've been playing this game for years! Give me some New Year Cheer please and explain to an Old Git how (if I can) buy the above in gold.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What What

I would pick it up if available for Au.

Should've been in the Advent but WG keeping it for the twitch prime package.

That is it's gold value which is used to set it's selling price in credits.  You have only ever been able to buy it for real money as far as I am aware.

You'll only be disappointed

How often do you see a Primo Victoria in gameplay?

Spend your cash on a centurion 5/1, a vastly superior tank

(Heck, even the 4202 is more rewarding with a decent crew)

Thanks mate, I got both those and indeed the 5/1 is an excellent tank (in the right hands  ;)

I was thinking the 81 would be the same ish.

As with a number of premium tanks, yes.

The gun is exceptional, very high velocity

But it's no lowe cannon, RNG can make it derpy like with the ravioli

I'm on a buyback program at the moment, both my Primo and fv4202 are out and need repurchased for credits

My Primo has a 5 skill crew and the FV will get a 75% crew

I'm getting the FV first, it's just more fun and more rewarding to play

(just bought it back actually)

I will share a tip about P. victoria

P. victoria comes with 5 crew members (all 0-BIA skill crews), meanwhile, I also want to have a full set of UDES 03 (tier 8 TD) crews

So, what I do is:

retrain the P.Victoria`s commander/gunner/driver to the high tier Swedish medium (they only need those 3 crews)

Change the rest radio operator and loader into UDES 03`s gunner and driver (total 1000 gold when discounting)

recruit a female commander as UDES 03`s commander (because the rest two crews are not allowed to be trained as commander)

So you will have 2 sets of 0-BIA crews in your Swedish Medium and TD (or you can retrain them into heavies)...I think its a fair trade

As for the P.Victoria`s missing 2 crews, you can just recruit regular crews for some credits (actually only the loader matters...)

I agree with Stevies_Team.

I got STRV 81 for 14 days with twitch prime package. Pffff... :sceptic:
Don't waste your money.

Listen to DezGamez's opinion. What he says about this tank is instructive.

The gun will troll you hard at times when you need it to work. Wasn't a totally enjoyable marking experience for me.

I hate that the strv81 is a four-crew tank and the Primo has five. Was hoping it would be the same, like Skorpion and Skorpion G, that I would be able to trade the primo for the strv81 at some point. No way I am gonna have both in my garage. #sadpanda

Right-click on the tank icon in the carousel. One of the options popping up should be "buy for xxxx gold". At least that's how it was for me with previous twitch prime rentals. Only works during the rental period, not after it ended iirc.

Thx for the hint, did try but the purchase option is greyed out.

After some good and bad games, I only use it to train swedish crew until my rental period is over.

Unlike Sisterhood of Steel, that got renamed to Brothers in Arms, allowing male and female crews to work together, Primo Victoria's crew has a distinct skill (Band of Brothers). For a while, that did not work with BiA, just checked now, and it does. Finally.

What utter nonsense, do you actually even know what defines a derp gun because the M4A1 Revalorisé is nothing of the sort?

derp (noun) a large calibre gun firing projectiles with low muzzle velocity, generally inaccurate, often using HE as main ammunition.

derpy (adjective) an undesirable quality of guns that are mostly accurate but occasionally miss the point of aim completely, affects shots randomly and does not reflect stated dispersion values.
