Seriously, that's only 2 of the several who have suicided before the battle even started today. These accounts should be perma banned as they let down not only the team but frustrate the players to either quit, or start swearing on all consequent battles. As long as these two and others like them are allowed to ruin someone's game, WG going to have a constantly angry community, swearing at each other in battles. And because of that less people end up taking up this game given how different (worse) is the game today than in 2011-12 when most started.

Should be a week ban for any account that drowns within the 1st few mins of a game on a regular basis, happens so much lately, we even go on to win half of them still haha!

I can understand it when its 7 or 8-0 before you even get to your position,it seems pointless.

It is nothing but honorless. Relying on your team to make profit and if it "fails" you just suicide, because it is "pointless". Hello? What kind of sportsmanship is this? If not for your team, you could at least get some more practice just playing and earn some credits and XP trying to get some damage done. This philosophy is the true [content removed] of the game and I understand all toxicity towards it.

Inappropriate use of the word "cancer".

Why ever drown instead of dealing more damage? :amazed:

I know of a player who does this every battle. I first saw him drive straight into the water on Lakeville. I checked his stats and his survival rate is pretty much ZERO, as are his damage and kills stats.

I reported him to support who made the excuse that maybe real life gets in the way! WHAT? Every single battle he is too busy answering his phone, or his door, or changing nappies to fire even a single shot?

I was prompted to check him out recently, but he hadn't been playing for over a couple of weeks. He is back. Same old same old, with 15 battles in the last seven days, and ZERO everything again.

Not everyone cares about stats, plus this the holiday period and i personally have seen some of the worst plays in years!

Agreed, but i didn't meant it from a competitive player point of view. Damage is stats but it's also experience and credits :coin:

That's why i struggle to understand those players. To drown on purpose is always pointless (unless you are arty).

It's griefing. Such accounts should get permabanned.

You should remove their names too or it will be a clear case of name&shame, that is against the rules. Remember to do that both on the player list, on the tank and in the report bar.

OP you reported them for the wrong thing! You should have chosen "Unsportsmanlike Conduct", not "Inaction/Bot".

They are in a platoon, which basically confirms their drowning was deliberate and ban-worthy.

It's random (well sort of, in a rigged way)

Skill based Matchmaking would sort it

Sportsmanship rating-based MM would sort it better.

Imagine voting positively or negatively on a teammate's actions in battle...

In a similar vein it's the same as those who pronounce to the team 'lose' during the countdown then either drown or go afk, I prefer them to go afk at least they can spot the cap.

If you want half decent team members then only skill based MM will do that

Otherwise it's the good old WoT random chitshow and moaning about it is really silly and completely pointless

OK Stevie, here is your big chance.

Tell us how you would implement it, bearing in mind there are 15 players per team and 5 classes of vehicle, 10 tiers that players can choose from and that a player may be good in 1 tank but poor in another. What factors are you going to use to create 2 balanced teams?

But you will have to do it in the pinned MM thread.

Most probably those players have XVM.

They found out the win chance is very low.

...

So they "just" avoided a bad battle .......

Solution? Ban XVM? Make game more fun for even a loss? Introduce skill base MM? Ban everyone who does not like sure loss?

I do not know.

Maybe you.

LOL nope, not keen on getting a "negative rating" because some rage kiddo doesnt think my play is on their top tier hardcore gamer level.

XVM has ruined games for far too long and gives advantages through focusing of good players which shouldnt be something random players know. The raging and flaming is one of the worse side-effects of the add-on and i strongly advocate for it to get banned and removed permanently.

Would be the death-knell if it was ever implemented. Just play Ranked to get the feel for how skill based mm would work. personally I would probably stop playing the same day.
