Yep a thousand times before asked, but please explain again for the mentally limited like me.

Why did the poor person in the AMX a tier7 light get less XP awarded than the AFK from start player in the tier7 TD?

337 for the AFK player that did nothing and 319 for the person that at least tried.

Why even try in this game if the rewards are as distorted like this?

AMX tried?

To do what? No spotting, no shooting, no noting.

Edit: TD survived, probably gives a small bonus.

They both did nothing (ok, AMX drove aimlessly for a bit) butthe TD survived. It’s well known that you get more XP if you survive.

To answer, it isn't fair.

But WG are WG, don't expect them to be reasonable, just or fair

OK that probably explains it, TD survived.

AMX did spot 1 tank, though no one took advantage.

Of the may injustices in this game, for me the volume of AFK players that then get rewarded for screwing over 14 other people is number 1.

I remember at prep school a boy complaining that he had got a C for his essay when he had copied it from another boy who had got an A for it the year before

"Well, Wilson" said the master "If you wanted to know that I don't like you, you only had to ask"

This was to me a valuable lifelong lesson

I've finished mid table on XP before as I had to park up in a bush as my baby son woke up.

The fact I outscored half my team by doing nothing entertains me greatly.

Also saw a T10 Rashan HT afk at base the other day. He didn't finish bottom as he bounced a lot of fire.

I thought bouncing doesn't award any xp? Could be wrong though.

neither deserved that amount of XP as both did nothing but your p[point re imbalance is fair.

Wargamming either just do not care or are utterly clueless. The XP/credit imbalance is PATHETIC a 5 year old could do a better job than wargamming who are a company that on a daily basis show they care nothing about the players they have almost no clue about the game and don't want to know anything other than how much money they can get us to spend.

AFK players should not get any xp or credit.

Wait it doesn't? What the hell, you mean all the time I've distracted enemies by bouncing and using my armor correctly and don't get rewarded for it?

Correct, WG has played with the idea in the past, but it was eventually discarded. Closest you can get currently are the damage blocked missions that sometimes pop up.

people like you would rack up ridiculous amounts of xp in one of a hundred battle and make snowflakes complain if blocked damage would be taken into account...

You get rewarded because shots bounced by you are wasted shots that aren't hurting your team so your team has more chance to win. Win = more credits/xp.

It's weird that his tank didn't got autodestroyed at the end of battle. There is such a mechanic in game and i've seen it happen to afker recently.

I find the XP awarded totally confusing, I just accept what I get.

But does anyone actually know the presise way in which XP is calculated?

I thought that too, my guess would be they didn't leave the battle and just left the game playing in the background without doing anything.
