With all the bonuses, i managed to unlock my first TX, the Lt100, in which i totally suck.

I also, managed to grind through the IS3 and got myself a shiny new Obj. 257.

With free XP, i got the top gun, the top turret and the tracks, sadly, not enough for the engine.

And this is where i could cry. It's painful to get to places, especially uphill.

How do you deal with that? Does it get better with the engine upgrade and crew skills?

Also, since i wuv my IS3, i kept my crew there and started a fresh one in the Obj. 257.

Which crew skills would you recommend first? In order of priority.

Also, what equipment?

So far, i have Rammer and Gun laying drive (not enough credits left for a third).

Repairs. Rammer/GLD/Vents wouldn't be a terrible choice.

6th sense for commander and repairs for everyone else, personally i'd drop the gld as well as i only tend to use those on arty. I'd go optics/rammer/vstab for equipment but you'll probs want to grind out some creds in the lower tiers as a reserve as running a profit at 9 isn't guaranteed.

I took one out, playing my IS-6.

Should not normally be "possible" but it turned out it was. He was way too eager, and that became his downfall.

It is still a darn fine tank tho, no question about it.

stock is pretty bad; upgraded engine really helps. Before that, yes, it's slow as f.

there are very few situations when you want to get out of rammer/vstab/optics. At most, you can replace optics with vents. But you can't take gld over vstab.

what you want to do is: forget about 257(or play the daily bonus/daily maiden missions on it) and grind some credits. You can use the crew book you got from the event to get your crew at ~1.5 skills. Personally I always did ss/repair/repair/repair, retrain to bia+ss/bia+repair/bia+repair/bia+repair when you got to 2nd skill.

but anyway - you want to grind credit now; so, get whatever premium you have and play them. This way you can get another crew book(2M) and some equipment when it's on discount again. With the event crewbook, it'll result in 450k xp/each, which should move you on the 3rd skill easily.

p.s. - And next time read before buying premiums as you bought a metric ton of the crap ones. Really, how can you pay for a cdc?

Also, dunno if after 4k battles in 5 years t9/t10 is where you want to play...

Thank you for your suggestions and sorry for the late reply.

I went with Rammer, GLD and Toolbox.

Also, i already unlocked the IS 7...wtf...grinding this tank was a breeze and took roughly less then a week with 1-2 hours of playtime each day.

Considering i did grind the IS3 (on and off) for round about three years... :amazed:

Also, i am happy to report that my crew finally unlocked the first skill!

My opinion on this tank: fully upgraded the mobility is ok, the armor works against lower tier opponents and i bounced the odd premium round off my turret now and then.

The rest of the tank is made of cheese appearantly and the gun is...troll-ish.

Still, i like it and i'm gonna keep it.

Now i need 4 million credits for the IS7 tho...
