If you run it with food, rammer, vents, vstab. Without food, switch vents for optics

Rammer, v-stab, optics, standard set up for most high tier tanks that can mount those things.

Second this with food for bonus if you feel you can maintain the credit income to afford it.

I equiped mine  with vents, stabs and improved optics. Viewrange on this baby is a whopping 518 upto 530 meters with the optics bond consumable. This made all the difference in improving my results in the Progetto 65.

Well i was a viewrange guy as well, but then i switched to vents + food, that has made more difference than a viewrange advantage, because maps have changed quite a lot in past years, so it no longer matters that much, if you have 460 or 500m VR, with old maps and td camo bonus after firing VR was very important back then, nowadays, well not so much. Considering map design and how camo works, you are going to spot low camo tanks atmax range anyway, but you are not going to spot swe td with camonet until you run into him pretty much, so whats the point then?

Pretty much this imho. I will just add the Vents consumable with bonds to maximize viewrange when you dont go with the Optics.

So basically 2 setups.

Setup 1. Rammer , V Stabs , Vents with Vents bond consumable & Foods applied.

Setup 2. Rammer , V Stabs , Optics with V Stabs bond consumable & Foods as optional.

Don't think there will be any discount soon. Last one was on Christmas, so pretty close. IMO, if you have the money, you can buy it now. :)

Rammer Vstab and than vents or optics...

That depends on your crew if you  already viewrange perks on crew and have a nice viewrange i would go with vents as 3th

If you have a new crew i would go with optics first i dont play progetto 65 as sniper but the extra viewrange helps with the spotting.

It's a very versatile tank, and has 320mm HEATs that fly 1173m/s.

I started doing a lot better in all high tier meds, when accepted the fact many times sniping from redline with the HEATs is best play.

Actually I've chosen the V-Stab, Optic and rammer.

And I'm good with it.

And my crew is training the forth skills already.

It was really interesting to play it, it bounces quite often!! :D

But what annoyed me was the missing shoots, even while I fully aim, I'll try to upload the replay later(using phone now), it missed a bc 25t all the shoots was hitting ground or flying above it, now I still believe it's RNG, but I'm sure that I aimed fully enough!

I use vents (on all tanks where it's possible), optics and rammer.

V-stab is less important than optics, view range is also must on all tanks not relying on spotters (like some TD's and Arty).

No. Just simply no.

Progetto 65 is an autoreloader with a clip of 4, which means it's basically a damage dealer. And the most important thing for a damage dealer is to hit the shots as fast as possible and then gtfo to reload.

Improved Rammer, Improved Vents, Improved Vstab and food. Also a top crew featuring all the view range skills, BiA, repairs, camo, snap shot, smooth ride... everything lol.

This is how I run my Standard B, and this is how I would run a Progetto 65. With auto-reloaders, the influences of improved equipment and consumables is very important since it's not for just 1 shot reload but for as many reloads as shots you have taken from your mag so the gain is for maybe up to all 4 shells. At the start of a battle, like let's say on Glacier, I will race down the hill to the mid ridge and poke over to spot and farm the poor heavy tanks early on. With the layout I have, I am just about a full mag because I have the capacity to reload a full mag maybe several second faster than a "standard" Standard B so I get to deal potentially 1000+ dmg in the first few seconds of a battle with 3 shots, instead of less for 2 shots, or maybe clip a light tank to death instead of him surviving and living to cause me problems by spotting me and being a pest. So only best will do for a very special tank. If you want the best results, you will the best tank you can have.

Interestingly I casually 3 marked the Pantera while grinding a new somewhat average crew and running an average tank layout with optics instead of vents and no food so... ya but that's T8, for a T10 tank you most definitely will want to try and max it out.
