İ'm reaching 6k battles in wot and looking my stats from the site's rating page...have 3.900 battle rating (slowly increasing) and it says 'you scored higher than 56% percent of players.'

Wow thats a compliment for my average playing skills LOL...

It doesn't too important but when do you considered being a 'good, experienced player' in battles ???

I have to reach what kind of number figures in ratings ??

Thanks

When averaging more than 50% wins in most of your tanks, and averaging more than the hitpoints of that vehicle per battle.

It considered as "carrying your own weight", and some time ago it was the thing to go to be a, as you said, "good player".

You will probably hear a lot of stuff here, but in game statistics will always show where you can improve as a player,

be it in dmg, spotting, survivability, all of those things.

I think someone is considered good when they consistently have a 1500 WN8. I dont care much about overall WN8 because people become better the more they play and it takes time to raise WN8 so i look at recent WN8.

4000 WR

1000 WN8 (If you're into that) (Minimum)

50%+ wins

5k+ games played.

Those are what I consider a 'normal' player.

5000+ WR

1500 WN8

55% + wins

10k games played

Those ae what I consider 'above average'.

10K WR

2500 WN8

65% wins

20k games played

Unicorns.

Best indicator is to get above 50% WR across all tiers and classes.

Using the WotLabs scale It would probably be upper yellow / light green.  But WN8 can be misleading so doesn't always apply:

As I don't use any  means to see such things, I judge you by positions you take and your situational awareness and skill to find useful positions to either deal dmg or assist others.

But if you Rommel or report me and have sub 50% stats, you might get provocative answers.

Quite funny your above average player is actually a unicum and top procent and if they played another game they could be for real aspiring to become a pro.

My subjective standards

WR
<46% WR - Terrible player
46-48% WR - Bad but can have a good game once in a while, would not trust them to make any good decisions though
48-51% WR - Normal player
51-54% WR - Good
54-57% WR - Very good
57-60% WR - Unicorn, can be expected to hard carry games relatively frequently
60%+ WR - low tier/platoon padder or Super unicum

DMG(LT/MT/HT)
<50% of own tank's hp on average - Terrible player
Damage dealt= Damage received - Average
Damage= tank's own hp on average - Good
Damage= 1,5x own hp on average = Uni
Damage = 2x own hp on average = Super uni

I am regularly called a bad player because I don't meet super uni criteria. Which seems to lead to the conclusion that:

super uni stats = normal*

everything below that = bad

* If your local super uni does not carry your game, he is bad as well.

Personal rating doesnt really matter since it requires alot of battles to go up therefore you get more of it with more battles.

Generally aim at doing your tanks HP in damage and you will already do enough

Server average is about 48%. You're currently 49% and your recents are a little better than that, so all in all you're doing pretty ok for a relatively low number of games. Keep it up and keep being super-critical of the mistakes that YOU make in games and not blaming others/teams and you'll do even better.

I think someone with 55%+ WR and the equivalent Wn8,rating,good dpg in t10 tanks is a good player.

47% - 53% is where average players sit.Call them bad, average, bots depends on the player's prospective.

Stats aside, I don't care as long as he reacts to the map and plays his role. Or at least try to make a difference vs sitting at the back waiting for damage to come to him in his top tier HT. I usually don't ask for more.

Over 50% to 53% can be considered "average" Really?

Isn't average between 48-49%? "53%" just flat out says that you are one of the reasons your team won those extra 3% of your games since "50%" means your neither an annoyance or a help on average for your team.

Surely average is not subjective. If we take 5 players, one with 60% WR, one with 40% WR, one with 55% WR, one with 45% and one with 50%, the average is 50% (in this example).

It's not for a unicum to judge that a player with 53% is average just because he happens to be at 58%

I understand from many previous comments over the years that the average WR is actually around 49%.

The thing is, OP, as far as I'm concerned, if you can win more than half of your battles, then you're making a positive difference to the outcome of the battles more often and that's a great start. The more often that you make make more of a difference then the higher your WR will get.

You do still have to be very careful of your limits, however. For reasons I still don't fully understand, my skill (such as it is) runs out when I reach tier VIII. I mainly play these higher tiers for mission objectives, but I'm not so bad in some high tier vehicles.
