Soooo, this was my first ace in this tank (not that would  really matter to the story), I looked into team score and I found that the udes03 (I atached some screenshot's of the results) was awarded the high caliber award, having dealt 3084. In this match I dealt 3252  and I wasn't awarded anything. Is my math wrong or what? The main requierments for this medal is "Cause the highest damage in a battle". This wasn't the only time it happened to me, but this time I got really mad on it and decided to write this post. I got 46k battles and I have an above mediocre knowledge(I say myself) about this game. If you know why this happens, please don't hesitate and let me know!. Thank you for reading!

I haven't done the math, but it's prolly the 20% requirement or you shot an ally.

(Accidentally) shooting a teammate, although it does nothing.

Yes I shot accidently at a T29 with no damage, but I wasn't talking about why I wasn't the one to get, but Why did they got it with a lower damage?

Simply because you shot your ally.

Even you didn't do damage, it still counts as friendly fire

He just said you the reason. In case of team damage, the award is given to the 2nd best performance which fulfills the criteria. It's the same for most medals.

This is also a factor to bear in mind for another time. The difference in team HP can mean that two players have near identical levels of damage, but as one team had, say, 1,000 HP less overall, the player with the lower damage may just have scraped the 20% of total HP while the other- with more damage- sits just under the 20% requirement.

It simply say "No direct hits."

Team damage has never been a factor in High caliber.

What ?

Look:

High Caliber

Awarded to players who dealt the biggest amount of damage during the battle. The damage dealt should be not less than 20% of enemy team tanks' HP sum, and not less than 1000 points. For receiving this award, allies should not be hit with direct shots. If two or more players have an equal amount of damage dealt, the achievement is granted to the player who has earned more XP for battle, including additional XP provided to Premium account users. If the amount of XP is equal as well, the achievement is not granted.

So yes, it does matter.

High calibre - Awarded to players who dealt the highest amount of damage during the battle. The damage dealt should be at least 20% of enemy team tanks' HP sum, and greater than 1000 points. To receive this award, the player must not hit any allies by direct shot. If two or more players deal an equal amount of damage, and also qualify for High calibre, the achievement is granted to whichever player earned more EXP.

You could have looked it up yourself and spared us your indignation

Am I blind or what, but where does it say anything about team DAMAGE?

That is what I have said all the time!

You hit an ally. No medal.

You splash an ally. No effect.

My guess is that he got it because he checked all the requirements while you did not.
