Well, what exactly do you mean by "slow gameplay". Do you just mean matches taking longer to finish?

If so, then yes, since the gameplay and matches have ended quicker and quicker since I first started to play this game, there's less thinking about flanking, side scraping, etc since the phase of the game moves most often too quicky for things like that to happen nowadays.

Now it's a lot more about rushing and all that, I miss the slower phase of the game, made it feel more relaxing and strategic to play. Now, a lot of the times when playing a slow tank I can't even get to a position at the start without the team losing 2 or 3 tanks.

I don't see any logic in this poll.

WoT is already an arcade game with faster action. And nobody is trying or planning to change that.

The only thing about gameplay speed I would complain about is that the average match time has gone down way too much in the last few years.

I personally enjoy the matches that are 10-15 minutes a lot more than all the short 5 minute stomps.

If you want faster arcade type gameplay, get an EBR.

I mean should the game be more tactical and slow like War Thunder or should it be faster arcade type like Crossout, I think that it should be faster and quicker but it could also have tactical fighting, I mean WoT is an arcade tank game

Huh? What is with an answer that is neihter slow simulation nor crossout style? I think the pacing in WoT is ok.

Much slower then it has now........ About the speed it had when this game was in it's early years (2010 to 2013). That was a nice speed, now there are way to many 5 minute rofl-stomps.

I liked it before all the wheelchairs existed. It's rare to get a game above 10 minutes or with a close score. Maps are also way too small especially for higher tiers.

Why the hell is Mines still a tier 10 map?

Well WT also has way larger maps. So thus some matches there are way slower. As you have to drive for 5 min to get to the battle, and then get one-shotted instantly so you have to drive again. But they also have maps that take 7 min before it's over just like here.

But WOT with the smaller maps is more fast-paced overall. And tbh... that's what I like, and why I don't drive tanks in WT that much vs flying.

Faster - compared to what? Itself, WT, AW, Dota, HoMM3? :amazed:

As of right now, the games start and finish way to quickly nowadays, I dont at all recall them ending this fast few years back and especially with these steamrolls being more and more often

The current game speed is absurd, which is why many original players have left. I suppose the current crop of players are of the PUBG/Apex generation and need instant gratification.

Apart from eliminating any sort of tank warfare realism or immersion, high game speed also wrecks the core balance of the game, in the same way that premium ammo did. Slow vehicles have become enfeebled, and the work that went into designing maps with topographical features is redundant because high vehicle speed and ROF now substantially negates cover, tactics and positioning.

WoT is already a first-person shooter, but wiith tank skins.

WoWS is going the same way - ironically, its dynamics are like a tank game that has ship skins.

The word you're looking for is "changes", not "wrecks". Yes, it's different to how things used to be but a f2p game that remains unchanged will stagnate and that's far more likely to drive away players than a single change to the meta.

Many long-term players complain about changes but think how the game would look if it hadn't moved on. The few players who were determined to to stick with it would all play the same few tanks because those are the most effective and new players would dip in, realise they'd have to grind the same tanks as everyone else and go do something more interesting instead.

Change is necessary if you want the game to continue.

Biased poll, no option for slow arcade or fast simulation.

There is CS if you want to play fast. This is a tank game. Not a racing game
