I have researched quite a few tanks using blueprints only, never paying much attention to how XP is being deducted, but today I have noticed something weird.

Object 277 has 11/12 blueprints completed, however completion rate is at 77% - which makes no sense.

220800 / 12 = 18400 - I expected each blueprint should have equal value, however it apparently isn't so. Wiki mentions nothing about blueprint weight, so i am wondering if this is normal.

Reading comprehension much?

I am just trying to understand how blueprint calculations work, I will research that tank using blueprints anyway, so it's not about what "I want" but about "how is it calculated".

Is simple 11 blueprints means 77% less experience.

Let me just add another useless reaction, because I can.

Edit: sry for useless response, I don't know how the blueprints work.

Ok. Why? Why not 91.66%, as it should mathematically be?

Oh wow, I didn't even know about this, thanks for letting me know before using up my blueprints for the JgPz E100 line, since I was going to use all on the E100 and the rest on the Jagtiger to save the most xp. I didn't know though that the reduction wouldn't be to example, 7/10 = 70% for the Jagtiger.

Huh, that's good to keep in mind actually.

That is weird though.

I wouldn't have anything against it, if it were explained somewhere. The concept of diminishing returns pops to mind, but as i just said, it should have been documented.

But it is explained. Every time you use a blue print it says how many percentages and how much in exp it compensates/takes away from the grind. They have made it so that 1 tier 10 BP is worth of 7% for the first 11 BPs and the 12th is worth 23%. That is how it works, I don't know why, but that's just how it works. And it's explained already in the creation of a BP.

Ok, it was more of an internal musing, what prompted the developers to choose this way of calculating a BP value.

Because if you don't get all 12, you get a smaller % discount. 100% is when you get all. If you have less then 12, you get 7% pr set you have. For a total of 77% with 11. It's not divided by 12 pr piece if you will.

I got the EBR 105 and the TVP T50/51 with BPs, and then Object 277 up to 11/12, grinding generic BPs because I have dozens of BPs I can't use for Japan, Czechoslovakian and Italian trees (all finished) but not enough for French tree.

Simple, you say?

Divide 100 by 12.

Now multiply that for 11.

Does it look like 77% you muppet?

Didn't know either. But its worth knowing the last one has more blueprint value, is that the case with tanks that require fewer blueprints too?

Please keep it civil, gents. No need for namecalling, it's not helping anyone.

Tell the OP what he needs to know and move on.

Because I probably play too much suddenly I find I have researched almost everything. All I need to do to get something is pay pixel money and it is mine. No complaints
