So I finished all christmas albums today. I had went for only 25 boxes on the first day. I just wanted to share with you the way I went for.

As for the large decorations I want to clarify that I got only one of them as drop and today crafted the last one (In total 3 of them sadly) with my spare shards and I still 5k more excluding used ones on tree.

As for the crafting the missing items here are the tips:

1) The worst scenario for your anti-duplicating items you need maximum 18360 Shards if you have to go for only level 5 items. But don't do that. Never. The answer is at the bottom.

2) The most imporant thing is crafting almost all level 5 items totally randomly. They will cost you only 110 shards per attempt. 360 crafting - 250 from destroying which means only 110 shards. I went with this way until I miss around 10-15 level 5 items BUT having only 17 missing level 5 items are STILL ok. I just wanted some fun cauze I had more than enough shards after my calculation. ALL I CARED at that point was having minimum 18360 shards in case I need to go for only level 5s with my anti-duplicate items.

3) You can easily craft your missing level 3 and 4 items without using anti-duplicator. Just go for fully specialized crafting. Some slots have either totally 1 slot (so you won't need to use antiduplicator) or 2-3. So taking risk is totally worth it. They won't cost you much. Just try to craft missing level 3 and 4 parts until you have in totaly 17 missing items.

4) After that just craft your last ones with antiduplicators. It won't take long.

5) IF your luck goes really bad at crafting level 5s randomly just make your calculation for spesific 2 albums. And calculate how much shards you need if you go for that 2 albums by crafting using antiduplicators (Because Level 3s/4s cost much less) and with the rest ones you may still try to craft random level 5s for the next year. But IMO crafting lower levels just by selecting spesific album style&tree slot is much better choice.

6) I hope this short guide will help you much.

Best Regards.

I made some shards last week and have 35 140 (which presumably is 35,140) And I have 11,000 to make so far. I am 280 short of the 380. So if I read your post right I will probably have enough left to finish 2019 (253/313) and 2020 also?

At least this year all the camos look like crap compared to previous ones.I might unlock 2/4,when i break all my decorations(last day).Probably only 1/4.

Well I actually managed to finish the Christmas set today, no boxes bought, and did not 'try hard' to get all the boxes. Guess I got about 70-80% of total available boxes. First time ever I managed to complete a set, so I guess it wasn't harder than last year (mainly thanks to the anti-duplicator I think).

Broke al my deco and crafted a lot of random tier V stuff till the album counter didn't go up fast enough anymore, also I made sure I was well above 10k shrads at all times. Checked which collection was closest to finish and crafted some random V stuff from that one. In the end just got the collection complete quite easily with the anti duplicator (nice feature WG!)

Would have preferred the flying carpet camo, but the gingerbread one doesn't look to bad looks rather special speshul on my JgdPz E100

Spoiler

I bought 25 Lunar boxes, used those and the duplicator to finish that set as that was the only camo that really appealed to me this year.  It'll go on my STB-1 when I eventually earn enough credits to buy the thing.

I've been using the shards since to complete last year's collections, I should be able to complete the last one (for the horrific lobster camo) when I break the installed decorations. I'm ok with that given I missed a couple of weeks grinding for regular boxes and assuming the setup is similar next year, I'll complete the other collections then.

First year's camos are still the best in my opinion.  Wouldn't spend any effort to get this years.

I got the Tangerine one and currently 326/380 overall. I really don't see these camos as much of a motivating factor anymore. Haven't even used the Tangerine one. As long as I've got something to slap on a tank to get the 4% extra camo rating I'm happy and I tend to use normal camos in preference over garish Christmas stuff anyway. Feels a bit like a gimmicky thing that they should have moved on from imo.

Slap on the camo and turn off non-historical elements, enjoy the bonus without the visuals. :great:

Last year I did not do much with advent so still had all four to finish and two from the year before that.

I completed all them last week and then finished the gingerbread camo for this year. Just finished the japanese style for thsi year last night but not sure if I will finish any more but not really bothered.

Main point was to finish previous years just in case they do not give the option next year to finish them, so hopefully at least this years will appear next year for me to complete.

Yeah I have the non historical elements turned off already, you still see your own though dont you? Regardless I have more than enough historical camo that they've given away to not bother with the Christmas ones.

To be honest, I don't know. I haven't tried turning them off, I'm repeating a suggestion I've read on here. I'm a complete fraud. :(
