Before anyone starts kicking off in the topic, I'm naming and shaming myself!

I was playing on Fjords, went to the usual heavy corner at the bottom of the map. Got hit and tried to pull back.  As it happens to all of us, I was blocked pulled back by a heavy cutting across and got wacked a couple more times.

I called the player a 'TW@T'. I was expecting either no reply or abuse back but got a sorry and explaination and he did try to get out of the way.  Instantly I felt the 'TW@T'!

I apologised for the word and off we went to win the match.

I PM'ed the player again to say sorry and that I should have known better to say what I said being the old git I am.  I also PM'ed his Clan leader saying what had happened and that member was a credit to the clan.

Hats off to Volktron and the clan hes part off.

what what

I feel better now I got that in public :)

It sometimes happen to block someone unintentional when arty shot me and brake my tracks that I already repaired and so it happens to be behind someone in that moment and he want to retreat. They start insulting alot, but they cannot see my broken track ? :(

Was giving a +2 top tier T29 player grief for camping in the back on Highway in stead of coming to city. Ended up winning anyway, and looked up his stats afterwards: less than 1k games played. Apologised and explained why I was giving him grief as a top tier player and said he would learn. Had a good chat with him afterwards.

I'll be honest, that's one of my favourite words in the English language.  Its very crisp, short and to the point.  I'm surprised its not more common in other English speaking nations.  :)

Well done and it would be nice to see this thread as a sticky. we can not and should not name and shame on the forum but complimenting and praising another player can only be good, we have far too much negativity in this game and it can be so frustrating it would be nice to come here and get some positive vibes every now and then and post positive interactions/good sportsmanship.

Yeah, so we had to improve our cheats not to get cought. And we bacame WG shills just in case. And have some Forum moderators for a good measure. We are undistructable. All that is left to do is dominate the World. And learn to play.

Anyone having problems with that has no choice other than draw a fish and join.

Technically, he isn't naming himself at all so we can't. However if this was Console forums, he'd probably randomly give a sanction for naming and praising the other player, but thankfully we aren't like that (I hope atleast!). Someone once got a ban there for "naming and shaming" a bloody bot, and I mean an actual bot like the Proving Grounds ones or whatever, as well as for posting a game clip of themselves.

A few days ago a light tank player (a good one) criticised two players on his team after he died. It was simple and along the lines of "Well done, Hellcat and (another) tank!" It was a tier VIII battle and I was in the tier VI Hellcat, but there was also a Super Hellcat around the same area.

I messaged after battle and said "Which Hellcat do you mean? The tier VI who was (top 5) on damage, or the tier VII who was (also top 5) on damage?" He said something like "The one who...." Not nasty, I just can't remember where I was said to be located in relation to him.

I said sorry, but I tried to support him but failed. I had APCR loaded against a Super Pershing but his hull stayed hidden, and I failed to pen his turret, then he pushed an allied LT up vertical against a wall, and I killed the LT before our LT died.

Once he understood that I had been trying hard to damage/kill the SP, he was absolutely fine about it, and we had a brief, but friendly, chat. It doesn't hurt to say sorry- and I do often give a big "well done and thanks" to players who have carried as well. They say two wrongs don't make a right, but at least a few rights might make up for all thevery occasional rare negative remarks I may or may not have allegedly made, your Honour.

Nice one, OP. :honoring:
