I skipped most of the EBR line so I did not play the others a huge amount.

But what I'm finding in the 105 is the majority of enemy shots hit me. Yet the enemy EBR's always seem to go without taking damage half the game.

Equally, when it comes to 1vs1 in an EBR the other EBR always seems to hit me even though we have a combined speed over 180 kph.

Conversely, I nearly always never hit in that situation.

Am I missing something really obvious here? How do the other EBRs avoid so many shots and hit on the move for fun? It's like they have aimbots half the time.

Yes, the other EBR :teethhappy::teethhappy::teethhappy::teethhappy::teethhappy::teethhappy:

On a serious note. Whilst they are not invulnerable, I also have a hard time with them.

I see 46/47%  players carry in EBR105s dodging shots after shots like Neo in Matrix. Wait for a buff if it doesnt work for unicums.

Atleast according to your profile, isn't 11 Battles a bit too early to judge?

Well, by skipping most of the line you missed valuable learning experience in the low and middle tiers. Here are some pointers for EBR vs EBR dogfight. First of all, load HE shell unless other EBR has below 350 hp. If you aim manually, aim slightly higher and you will always damage them ( for reasons unkown, most of the playerbase still can't comperhend this). DON'T STOP MOVING! And don't move in straight line or you will eat 500 HE dmg in no time. Try to be unpredictable. If you are using auto-aim hold your fire while other EBR is turning and shoot him when he is going in the straight line. Also if other EBR is chasing you, slam your reverse key and smack him with HE in the back. This usually works like a charm.

Isn't it funny when there's a confirmation of everything that keeps being said?

Turns out, EBRs are only "OP" when it's the other guy using it against you. Shocking.

The basics of it are that the other teams clowns are always better

You do know that good players dont use it as its better to aim yourself.

Yes. Auto aim. Focus on the driving and just keep your finger pressed down. Manual aim is nearly always king, but with these things in dogfights the guy using auto aim nearly always wins.

Also, the best thing you can do is to avoid dogfights altogether. Lure your tail into friendly tanks whenever possible. There is no upside to trading in these things, you are far too fragile. A single lucky hit can do so much damage that even if you live, your combat potential from there on is close to zero.

I'm certainly not the best player in my EBR, but I find that in a dogfight against another EBR I'd rather shoot ACPR. Higher shell velocity means it's an easier shot to hit, and since the wheels detonate HE without letting it pen you often do less damage with HE than you would have with ACPR. I'd rather do consistent damage than gamble even more with RNG.

That said, you should avoid such duels as much as you can, of course, and preserve HP for the end game, like with all light tanks. Try to keep the enemy EBR spotted and even try to get it to chase you, into the guns of your team. Of course, as the OP mentioned, your bots usually seem unable to hit the enemy EBR while the enemy manages to snipe you with derp guns for some reason, but that's just WoT for you.

Basic dogfight rules.  Never be travelling directly toward or away from whatever is trying to shoot you.

Get behind the other guy and autoaim will do the rest.

Dont drive in a straight line, always go abit left and right . If you want to make a hard turn change the mode and then change it back after the turn. When fighting another EBR dont use autoaim, your shells are not fast enough. Use manual aim and give abit of lead, unless the other ebr is driving in a straight line towards or away from you then use auto aim

Nope, you are not missing anything, its just that players who dont give a crap and goes full yolo wins the games in ebrs more often than not. Obviously im not talking about yoloing straight to enemy base from the beginning, but going yolo active scouting + autoaim HE on enemy lights seems to work perfect for every 47%er, i think it works so well for them is just because of them being unpredictable in a way that i cant even think of doing. As Jingles always say - if its stupid, but it works, then its not stupid. EBR is full yolo rng bot fiesta, thats why its works the best for players who simply dont give a crap about anything.
