Today is the last day of christmas garage, as always I wanted to break all my decorations for some extra shards. But this year we have this prolonged time with bonuses. So if I break all of them will my bonus stay at "pre break" 44% or will drop to "post break" 6,8%?

Moreover, the maximum credit bonus you achieve during the event will apply to the tanks that are placed in your Holiday Ops Vehicles slots. Play at your leisure and farm tons of credits along the way!

They will stay at "pre-break" levels afaik. Can a mod/staff confirm this?

Not confirmed by staff but others think the same.

What do you gain by breaking the decorations? Do you get to keep the shards until next year or do you use the shards to craft decorations for the albums?

Use them for crafting. It was confirmed earlier in the thread linked above that if you don't use your shards, you lose them. There's no conversion or retention, unfortunately.

Can thank my luck for spending 25k shards to try and get the last level 5, it was a 50/50 chance and I lost all 18 of them... If I were a cynical type I would say perhaps it was a ploy by WG to make you buy the last large boxes...

I only broke 1 deco to complete a 2019 collection, not breaking the others since I can't complete any more 2020 collections this event.

But given how it is worded, you should get the full +50% on the six selected tanks after tomorrow.

I was trying to complete my collections, but then I had a look just what you get. I stopped. Maybe I will complete it next year if you can just throw a bunch of shards at it and be done with it, but these camo schemes are so horribly ugly I would never, ever use them anyway. Once you get that 50% credit bonus, it basically ceases to matter, imho.

Sig, have you used all the non-duplicate thingies that you gained? I have smacked random ones for the Chinese collection until I got 17 left. Then I have used the non-duplicates and finished the collection. It was 22 of tier V, so it took like 35k shards.

You don't get to keep the shards, but you get enough shards that some might complete a collection they want etc before it's over. Or to just complete a collection more before the end, so it costs less next year etc.

There's no way you lost 18 times in a row on a 50/50 chance. That's 1 in 262144 odds for that to happen. I have seen posts of people rolling 5 or 6 duplicates in a row but 18 is just too improbable. Maybe you have a screenshot of it? That's definitely a screenshotable moment.

If what you're saying is even true:popcorn:
