None that i've regretted. As one that has finished most lines except artilley, I find that while some tanks are bad, they come with their own challenges.
I'll admit I hated the tier 8 british light tank in the beginning, but after getting used to it and adapting to its strengths and weaknesses (mostly weaknesses). I manage to get decent results with it.

705a and the 30b. Both tanks don't work for me and I can't seem to make them work.

Lol looks like most of the players regret 705A. :D

(part of me also regret it :hiding:)

Which is why I plan on eliting the Tier 9s and not bother buying the T10s.

My t10s

Grille - very disappointed. Needs fixing

E100 - meh. Gold spam kills it.

Pz 7 - ok

Maus - Good/Very good

T62a - was ok now redundant

Fv4005 - hate it

E50m - meh

Leopard 1 - not played it much yet seems good.

Bobject - ok, attracts a lot of arty :)

Jg z e100 -surprisingly quite good and fun sometimes.

t-100 - good

Ebr105 - still not sure, feel a bit dirty playing it and the speed and my middle-aged reactions, not a great mix

obj140 - ok, versatile

Cent - ok, like the gun.

Obj430u - overpowered really and like bobject gets unwanted attention

113 - awful... just dont

wz5a - ok, but object 277 is better for me

Obj 277 - good fun, armour can't be relied on at all though.

Super Conq- boring play style not for me.

is7 - ok, 277 is more fun though.

 Pz 7 - ok

you forgot to say that campgain version is way way better because of no weakspot on turret ring mounting

Not sure I really regret any grinds because I've at least got some nice tanks from it along the way but I think the biggest waste of effort was probably the British heavy grind. When the Squonk was announced I'd reached the Black Prince and I remember being determined to get the FV before it was removed because of reasons I no longer remember.

Thing is, I'm not much of a heavy player, I'm never quite sure where to go on most maps even now so the grind with tanks that were mostly slow with pew-pew guns against RU heavies was a struggle that culminated in my having two tier 10 tanks that I rarely play because I'm not much of a heavy player.

But I did get there, I achieved what I set out to do instead of being distracted by something else like I usually do, so I wouldn't say I regret any of it.

VKK has weak lowerplate, unlike Pz7. 200mm vs 260mm effective straight on. One can angle its side, the other can angle its front. 2 different strengths.

I assume I must be in a minority thinking its "ok" as I very rarely see the tech tree or campaign version in battle.

VKK seems fine to me. Pz7 lost my interest after seeing the gun. VKK has alpha to cover the bad dpm, PZ7 does not.

Japanese tanks, up to O-HO and Chi-ri.I guess STB is good atm but not interested.

German lines in general....tiger2,panther2.I got the t9 arty from the GW panther swap so eventually (missions and marathon grind) got the T10. Lots of ammo but to slow to relocate, gereralist. At least is was good for missions.

I loved china LTs ,especially the WZ-131 and was so hyped for the wz132(no reason to get the t9/t10).Nice tank but LT432 happened... Waste of time.Might give a try to chinese HTs in the future, if i get 112 from referral.

T28 and T28 prot from murica.Dont like the slow nature of these tanks. From the T9s i would pick the T30 and play it like a heavy :) Probably waste of time also.

AMX 50 100,decent tank that i played really badly in the past.Dont have the map awareness/knowledge to make such tanks work especially since i take breaks from WoT and have to relearn.Whats the point in getting the 50B.French arty at T8,i should have kept the t6.People probably get the T10 to troll, not gonna bother.Reached amx 65T,might go for the T9 (with blueprints ofc ).

Arty grinds in general were really dump idea,i should have played the murican line only(which i didn't lol).

There are probably more tanks but at least i dont have Tier 10s to regret.

1. IS7 line.
Yeah yeah, its a good "noob friendly" Tier 10. But I just cant make it work. To rely on the armor is foolish, with all the gold used in Tier X. The gun is very bad (I had less misses in 705A than with this!).

I wish I invested my time going down the 277 or even 140 line.

2. Maus

I stopped mid way thru the Mauschen. Same reason as IS7. Armor stopped being relevant tool ever since premium ammo became purchasable by silver.

I regret I suffered my way through the German arty line just before the deluge of blueprints. Arty isn't exactly my favourite class, but if you can relocate (a lot) it isn't that bad and can sometimes even be genuine fun. (Yea, I will light the pyre on which I shall be burned myself, don't worry.) There is nothing at all that makes the German arty even remotely pleasant to play. They can't move, they can barely shoot and are big enough to hide a Type 5 HT behind them. Otherwise, I have less than fond memories of the French TD's prior to their rebalance. Especially the T8 makes me wake up screaming at night every so often. That thing was beyond annoying the play. It makes even the 65t look like a nice tank. I singularly hate the 4005, but it was instrumental in finishing a -15 mission so I guess I can't say I regret having it in my garage without looking like a total hypocrite. Still hate it, though.

I guess the most recent ones I can think of is the Chinese TD's and German Grille line. With the Chinese TD's there's a few nice ones in there at lower and mid tiers but then get bad from T7+. With the German Grille line it's starts with the T5 toaster I think and they are all heavily comprised in some way. Either glacially slow or too big or no camo or horrible gun dep/elevation characteristics or narrow gun arc or limited turret I'm pretty sure every one of them has some really bad failing/failings. Was really annoyed after that Grille grind actually. I sort of new the Chinese was crap so I wasn't really annoyed with that line lol, more pleasantly surprised by the good ones it had along the way.

If we consider any line where I don't own a single one of the relevant tanks, then French and UK HTs. I have been as far as tier VIII on both and now don't own any. Otherwise, US mediums. The only one I own is the T69, and this is not from a medium line. :P

I have abandoned many lines with lower tier keeper tanks and even the odd one or two higher tier tanks, but I have taken a few lines to tier IX with some success in the higher tiers.

I suck at tier X and have no intention of buying any soon. The only one I may consider is the T-62a, but that won't be for a while anyway. I don't own the T-54 yet.

So, is it mostly T10s that you guys regret purchasing?

For me, it's so-so, I'm not that good, but I still can carry some T10 games.

Personally i regret not having grinded some lines when the tanks in it the were actually playable and not powercreeped to death like they are now.

Like the patton line i'm grinding now, or the non turreted TD from brits and usa which i'm not doing and possibly i will not ever do unless every tank faster than 35kph suddenly explode to death and get relegated in the phantom zone forever.

As the title says, what lines you grinded then you regretted them?

For me, it was Type 5 heavy, because even after the buffs it received, it didn't change. But the only tank i enjoyed in that line was O Ni.

What about you? :)

ALL OF THEM

All...:hiding:

TBH, there are fewer and fewer lines now that I find myself interested in... maybe the Japanese TD line might interest me somewhat, but if it is like the other Japanese lines so far.. dunno. I am more interested in certain individual tanks at this stage, some premium, some regular. I'm not planning on bothering to grind for anything really, so just going to keep and buy back some I've had in the past.
