Just got my Manther,i am using an old 2(almost3) skill crew from my abandoned panther2 which i will boost to 3.

What is your set up?

I'm using rammer+Vents+optics  for equipment

For skills im thinking

com : BIA+Sixth Sense+(recon or repairs?)

 gun:  BIA+Snap Shot+ Repairs

Driv:   BIA+Smooth Ride +Repairs

Rad:   BIA+ Sit Awaren+ Repairs

Load: BIA+Safe Storage + Repairs

This crew might end up in E50,does it worth getting camo before repairs?.Does it burn alot ?,if not to run chocolate when i'm feeling rich :)

I  use the same setup, it does not burn (as far as i remember), but the tank is not a good credit maker, due to low pen and 'meh' view range.

For training purposes i have switched to the pz 5/4, but the panther/m10 was decent for that purpose.

Repairs > Camo for ze german mediums.
Since it'll go to the E50, I might advise you to drop the Smooth Ride from your Driver and pick Controlled Impact. For the lolz obviously. But nothing beats the smile on your face when you ram a Bat Chat 25t for 1k damage and receive only 200 in return.
I think I've one-shot a GSOR recently, while playing my E50M. Missed the shot, turned into him, he didn't noticed me coz he was "sniping" at our EBR 90 and ... BANG ! Laughed so hard I woke up my cat.

I'm going recon+repairs for third skill and contr.impact instead of smooth ride.

I remember oneshotting a cromwell with a ram from my panther in full speed

Ty guys :)

This is what I did back when. I regret it. Sure it was kinda fun that one time it actually paid off but all-in-all I deem it as a waste.

When i reset my 3rd skill at 50%,i will reconsider smooth ride Vs impact.Truth is that this crew will not be seeing the E50 soon.

Edit: After 6 battles i like it alot,1500 dpg it will fall soon .I went with smooth ride, for the "reliable" aiming bonus.

Solid medium tank:medal:

With regard to burning I have been playing this a couple a few days with auto fire extinguisher. It has burnt out 3 times. First time that I have noticed fire damage in any tank for a very long time. Be interested what more could be done apart from fire fighting skills. It happened twice today and I'm beginning to think this goes back in the junk pile

Japanese name, Japanese flag on tank and the number 731.

Coincidence or a really, really sick joke?

Well, I have been calling it the Warcrime Panther for years now, so... :girl:

Btw, my KV-220-2 has the same number but with the Mongolian flag.

But hey, as you can read in the article, they did nothing wrong because they were never prosecuted for warcrimes, right?

And hey, I've been pointing out that it wasn't blocked from usage since before it was added to the game proper, so I'll use it until WG sees sense and blocks it as silent protest.

Rammer vents optics

C: Bia 6ths recon camo

G: bia camo ss

D bia camo SR

RO: Bia sa camo

L: Bia SS camo

It's my Leopard (-to-be) crew so I went with camo.

edit: and I don't think 444m view range is "meh". It's pretty good for a tier7 without binocs.

Is the tank any good? I hear is mediocre at best. That's why I'm considering taking the other option.

Just got the tank today not played it yet but the choice between 7 days prem or a prem tank for me is a no brainer. After the madness of xmas I will be playing less for at least a few weeks so 7 dys premium was no use but another credit grinder premium is always nice if for no other reason to have more options depending on what mood I am in.

For me I viewed the 7 days premium as something for those who already have the tank but to be honest 10 days to 14 days would be a much better trade of as 7 days seems a bit stingy when compared to the tank.

It's a Panther without the top gun but better accuracy and gun handling. This alone makes it mediocre tier 7 medium tank except... it has preferential match-making. It doesn't meet tier 9 tanks which is a big limiting factor for other tier 7 meds. Also, thanks to limited MM, armour is kinda reliable because you are top tier more often.

Solid tank, unless someone doesn't like the playstyle.

+ big HP pool 1300

+ accurate gun,with great dpm(close to 3sec reload)

+ armor is good for a MT

+ Can reach 445m+ view range with optics(and skills or chocolate)

+ Pref MM,sees max Tier8s

+ (-) 8 gun depr

+ Cheap ammo

What not to like....

Had mine ages, sold it for 1mil credits and Battle of the Bulge respawned it for me.

It's perfectly useable as a Med. Has a T6 gun essentially but with decent DPM and gun handling.

Is big and fat along with poor camo so expect to be lit up the moment you shoot or push.

I like mine and might 3 mark it some day, but then again I like the Panther 8.8...

the armor is mediocre but workable with a bit of angling against same or lower tier mediums and lights. The thing most players seem to overlook when deciding to play it or not is that it has no cupola and the gun mantlet is as wide as the turret. The turret cheeks you see from the front are actually the welded on M10 cosplay and are spaced Armor with no hitbox behind it if shot at from the front. If you’re hull down, many people will either hit your gun mantlet or harmlessly snipe the false turret cheeks. There IS a bit of actual turret behind the cheeks because the turret widens a bit, but it’s very low down and small and hard to hit. The rest is at an auto bounce angle. With a tiny bit of up angling it will be invisible to enemies. Also, no frontal machine gun weakspot like other panthers.
