Not really lucky tbh, you were moving up the slope within the 10secs of detection before it ended so the T62A quite rightly guessed you would either park in the bush or continue moving, either way resulting in a hit which sadly ended your game. I've got the 10sec indicator mod after randomly selecting stuff from Aslains the other day and the clip below shows it still active (probably gonna uninstall most of it as very little of it is useful).

Keep in mind there is a crew skills, and also a directive that WG gave out by the buckets during FL that keeps a target spotted for up to 4 seconds extra.

Nice to see a light tank doing what a light tank should be doing.

3k own dmg and almost 3k spotting in the first 5 mins.

Afaik, pretty much this, but lets break it down:

10:00, you spot the GW E100.

9:56-57: you drop off the ledge and the GW E100 gets destroyed.

9:56 also sees your sixth sense activate.

Start of 10½ second countdown timer to go dark, assuming GW didn't have designated target (he's looking at you) or call for vengeance.

9:46: you're shot by the T62A. So based on the above, you were about to go dark.

Aaaaaand by the time the shell hit, you kinda had your front showing through the bushes as well, with your front roadwheels on the curb.

So it looks like:

1: You were visible, or went dark immediately before being shot.

2: T62A knew where you were and that you were behind that bush, and was likely aiming at it by the time you were crossing through it.

More on sixth sense:

you know you play too much WoT when you are confused as you read the title as "Directives" :(

I did consider that. The skill isn't really one you expect many to have tho as it's a bit second best, but could be and I've apparently got 700+ of those directives, must use them more.

That said, assuming I was still lit I'm surprised he didn't focus the M60 instead, he should have been a much juicier target. Guess he really wanted the kill? :)

I would go for the pesky scout kill any day over the shot on the M60, even if that means not scoring a full damage shot, especially when the scout player seems to be efficient ! :honoring:

Nitpicking: 4sec = 2sec (DT perk on Gunner) + 2sec (crew directive)

Anyone else appalled by the atrocious english phrasing in this picture, and, yet, this being WG, not surprised?

I have this on some of my LT crews and it catches SO many players out, really racks up the spotting damage. You can just see them popping up after 10-11 seconds, thinking they're safe, then get obliterated. Got me 6k spotting in my ELC Even 90 on Fisherman's bay this week :great:

Every update I edit \World_of_Tanks\res_mods\configs\xvm\default\battle.xc to make the sixth sense last 11 secs. Works for me

"sixthSenseDuration": 11000,
