Another stupid Encounter capping.

Look, this happens quite a lot and it's really quite a simple thing to stop. 

No one likes a battle capped out in the first 2 minutes with the grand total of damage being less than 2k for both teams combined.

Make it so that capping is not possible for the first 5 minutes of all battles (3 minutes for assault); it's literally that simple.

Or take the win or loss and move on.

Haha, yeah I can see that working. Everyone either sit back and it's super slow for 5 min until a fast cap comes. Or everyone just yolos as they can't play the game mode anyway. Then you might as well turn it off and stick to standard battles like the rest of us.

Or don't let them into your cap circle. It's literally that simple.

Well thats just obvious. 

 

Whichever result nets you the most damage is best. And with that more victories come anyway. As doing a lot of damage helps your team win more often than not. There was an old thread awhile ago, about playing to win and playing for damage. And everyone of those "Playing to win" players had worse Winrates than the "playing for damage" ones, funny that :teethhappy:

Dont care as long its a win.

What happends to me a lot are those guys NO CAPP KILL ALL (without looking  what enemy;s are left)

And blow the game because they think  they had a chance with 4 bottom tiers against 3 digged in top tiers.

I dunno, since if a game ends with an early cap there are about 15 players who don't seem to mind if the other team gets the flag.

 

Maybe a bit annoying for some of the winners who would have wanted to do more damage, but if the other side can't be arsed to decap then there's not much that the currently winning side can do about it.

One of the reason i turned encounter off. Other 2 reasons is Mines/Empire borders. Still a shame since  i enjoyed  encounter  but with my rng i was getting  a fast cap, or those 2 maps  too often and it is more then i can suffer.

 

 

So yeah simple fix, settings, disable encounter and enjoy,

Esp if you are close to the 95% on marks and get a game like that, drop 2% that took you 1 h,1/2 h to grind out, what a joy!

I honestly think a better solution is to make capping more valuable in xp, credits, mastery badges, marks ect.

Capping is an important tactical part of world of tanks and shouldn't be made less valuable by removing the option to fast cap.

Turn the mode off if you dont like it
