The tank in question, https://wiki.wargami...k:A33_MTLS-1G14 is a double barreled tank, first one in the game, yet, it's firing system is that of an autoloader. I think it needs to be updated to the current double-barrel mechanic. If the game can have a low-tier wheelie, there needs to be a low tier double-barreled tank! :)

No. Please don't even think about it. Just don't. I love how it is right now.

I'd be interested in another tank, preferrably high tier with a gun along the lines of the American tier 4 stuart - click once and all shots will be fired in short order ^^

Changing it to that of a double-barrel would just make it even worse.

Okay, let me elaborate a bit more on this:

For the double-barrel heavies, they mostly got 122mm pushkas with a typical reload of 10,5-12,5 seconds reload per barrel. This means that there is ample time to put a cooldown in before you can fire the other barrel.

For the IS-2-II and Obyekt 703-II-100, we got 100mm and 85mm pushkas instead, with a reload time of 8,5 seconds for the 100mm and 5,5 seconds for the 85mm pushkas.

Time it takes to change barrel on those tanks are 3-5 seconds for 100mm-122mm pushkas, and 2,5 seconds for the 85mm pushkas.

For a double-shot, it takes 2-3 seconds to fire a salvo, with another 2-4 seconds reload lock after (6 seconds for Obyekt 703-II-100).

Now, for the Dutch-Indies tank thing, we got a 2-shot autoloader with a 0,5 second inter-clip reload and a 4,6 second reload for the full clip.

If we're going to apply the above logic to this, we're going to end with a very poorly designed double-shot thing.

1: the time it takes to reload each barrel individually means that you're only ever going to use one barrel.

2: if for whatever reason you decide to pull back a bit and let both barrels reload, the time it'd take to fire both shots simultaneously would be worse than the current autoloader mechanic.

Still, I'm sure WG could make it work somehow. It would be historical, besides, theres a tier 2 tank, Light VIC with almost 20 sec reload after firing and it works, so this can too.

I doubt it would be much better, or arguably worse if they used both vs the reload. Vs the 4 shots and burst damage it has now vs those. Or anything tbh. It's a "meh" tank as is vs what it was first tested as.

Then give examples or suggestions on how.

Because I already pointed out how it would not work.
