Maybe, just maybe, everyone has got the message, don't use 'illegal' mods....

Maybe one of the legal Mods, moderators that is, may wish to enlighten.

I think I saw a post from one of the CM’s saying that banwaves are no longer announced.

Well, what makes a lot of sence is that, if its no longer being anounced, it may no longer exist, Banwaves that is, so lets all cheat.?????? hmmmmm. GJ WG. :(

I would have to advise against testing your theory.

May I just share a bit of info with y'all?...

There's this mobile game, Azur Lane...anime shipgirls, etc., owned by a chinese company, and they also have to deal with hackers and banning them, but they don't do it in secret. They list each player's account name in a Wall of Shame. I think that's fair, because at least the other players have some sort of proof that a number of players were banned for hacking.

I wish WoT would do the same. It's not like GDPR is the issue, we're talking about usernames, not real persons' names...checking their account to see their "last active" date is all we'd want to know, as confirmation they're banned.

Well someone told me when they send replay where someone cheated wargaming responded with "there is no cheats/hacks in this game" and did nothing. I can bet wargaming sell cheated and don't ban those who buy's those cheats from them.

I'm not an expert in the field, we'd need some sort of cave-dweller for that, but as far as I'm aware GDPR is most definitely an issue. It forbids the publication of any data that might lead to personal identification, directly or indirectly. I'd only need to make a single facebook post stating that I play games under the pseudonym "BrinklyWollox" and you'd be able to tie this account to my IRL identity. It's hardly a surprise that companies would rather err on the side of caution than get involved in that mire.

That doesn't make any sense though given you started this thread with the same premise, albeit dressed up as a question, it's hardly surprising that it's the only conclusion you'll draw.

So are you claiming that you see ''a LOT'' of cheaters in the game? Care to give in PMs at least one example of such. I would like to learn on how to spot cheaters because my naive young mind can't see them anywhere it seems.

Well PM a replay to them pointing out what you spotted then. Can’t be hard surely?
