So, I actually started playing WoT because of the failed faction PvP in many MMORPG games. It's almost never a balanced fight in faction based PvP games since some teams have much better players. I have done all the "reroll a character on the other faction/server" thing but it's still no fun with the grave imbalance.

And now we have it in WoT... Having played about 50-60 games in the team clash (and my friends about the same) it's apparent that the "skill imbalance" is quite heavy in this game mode. Over 90% of the games we play is against Skill4 and we win about 15% of them. The only thing that even remotely saves this game mode is the fact that you can get 2 points for a loss as well. "So just suicide yourself to level 10" you say. Well tha'ts a possiblity but I actually play this game for fun and trying to win so... no.

So I hope WG watch the stats of all the battles in this game mode and actually learn something from this.

Don't worry, as soon as I get to level 10 I'll ditch the mode so you can play.

So you and your frends are platooning.....(if not would be smart to do )

IF you lose all battles than the platoon is the problem.

Dez games put up good fights mostly

the awsome epic guys and Mailand are for kids....easy to pulverize those teams...

like yesterday snake river...cap is in the south what the awesome epic guys team do.....go to the north hill hahahahaha.

My skill team drove to the cap and victory ...becuase the awesome epic guys thaught it would be smart to be in the north hill while the cap is in the south.

.(you see that kind of muppet behavior in encounter also)

Here is the thing. Most have zero clue who anyone of these 4 are. And since WG more or less forces you to pick one when you get to the garage. Most pick the "winner" there and then. We even did see it with the races where blue got bigger for each day. Then as the events gets on, more leave the event. And more imbalance will occur, more so for the "losing" team the more they fall behind. I suspect it would be the same, even if they picked 4 small unknown streamers. Then like the races... you go for the one with the coolest skin. One team will struggle regardless, as there will never be the same amount of players on all teams.

Well, the platoon argument would be valid if it wasn't for the fact that platoons face platoons. So we would still meet more skilled skill4 platoons. Or more in line with they have almost no bad players while we have at least 50% of them...

Well, i guess that in a day or two all Skill4 players are at level 10 anyways, so the game mode opens up... As WG probably new from the start

I asked in clan chat and first response was "take skill"

so I did that.

Be advised if you get me on your team. I don't have 6th sense for tier 10

More or less what I did, I wanted to do Skill, but the only response in clan was go Dez, so I did to get platoons. I think most of the clan has given up with team Dez to losing all the time? Just a couple of us are gluttons to the grind and for me I want easy bonds per level.

By the second day when I did a full day grind it was obvious to me the Dez team mostly have very inexperienced map winners as at least half would head for the random exp areas. By the end of the night it was like they learned nothing by their mistakes. Another awful sign. But I have been in battles when the team was focused and won, or lost to bad luck, but 75% must have been with inexperienced players who assured a lose in the first 20 seconds. Might be these content curators need to focus on how to win not rack up credits in a full specced out tank?

Not a lot you can do is there?

That's always gonna be an issue for these events. Regardless of how "balanced" WG will make them. As on day 2 or later. One team will have pulled ahead, and that's what the people late to the party joins. It's again why Blue went so far ahead so fast during the races. Or during that national event thing we had. One nation pulled ahead fast, and that's what people picked. And thus that won by a huge margin.

You ever been to the Blizzard forums? I mean I know it's bad there today. But it's not like one side cries about it there either daily. It's fun, but balance vs the two sides has been a touchy subject even there.

Yeah sorry, remembered that one only after I had already posted WoW, and couldn't be arsed to change it.

No, because I barely play their games.

Even their most recent one that I've played was Diablo 3 and I haven't touched that in years.

So you didn't like the faction PvP mode in other games?

So you started playing the faction mode in this game and hoped it would be different?

As you are disappointed by the WoT version are you going to stop or continue with it?

At least they are trying something different/new even if it is bad, always a start to something which can later be improved on but dont know if you dont try :)
