Hey there, folks!

I need help! I try to edit a XML file to be specific the file avatar_input_handler.xml to activate the free cam and change the keys. But everytime I want to open it with Notepad++ I get the following message:

XML Parsing error at line 1:

Start tag expected '<' not found

I was looking for a solution and found several topics on several forums stating I should try WoTmods, but these topics are old and for some reason I can't find a mod tool with that name...

Yeah I know I could just download Aslain's mod pack, but I want to use that method so I can activate that an older client versions as well...

Hope someone can help me out!

Same. I'm just trying to switch some gun sounds/effects. All the XML files are filled with NUL and other such characters. WG made it so horribly complex to mod some gun sounds. I remember back in 2015 when I just had to switch a few names around in an xml and I could change gun sounds. Every tutorial out there regarding sound modding is completely outdated.

Before editing it , you need to unpack it.
