Is it actually stated anywhere what you have to do to progress from one reward to the next? Is it amount of games, wins, damage done etc? If so, how much of whatever do you have to do to progress through the reward levels?

I've found that losing makes the rewards come quicker, and losing without doing any damage makes them appear almost instantaneously! Yes, they are rewards, but no, they aren't for merit! :hiding:

It's 60 points per level, that's it.

You get 4 points on a win and 2 points on a loss.

There are some boosters that are activated by the streamers that can multiply those numbers, but that's pretty much it: the more you play, the more points you get, the more you win, the faster you'll go.

They said early on you had a bigger chance to get one if you won and did well... But after a bit it did seem more random then anything. I've gotten it twice in a row for "meh" games. And I've not seen one after several great games. So I doubt there is a pattern as such other than a bigger chance to get it the more you play. The only thing of note is that the more cracked the padlock is. The bigger the chance to get one next game. So basically, at some point you can get it for doing nothing.

Based on previous threads and my own experienxe, the more battles you play the more you get, irrespective of how you perform in battles.

Not sure whether the length of the battle counts, though.

WG will never give information about how it is calculated to prevent rigging.

If it is pure RNG they will not state that too to prevent yet another [censored]storm.

I am now having a break but it looked like each game gives you RNG amount of points.

It did not made sense, but maybe I am just so bad that I did not recognized when I was actually playing as WG wants.

I get them for every now and then.

That's enough information.

yup sometime I can go 10 games without one, but then get two in three games. I genuinely don't think there is equation/sum but more of RNG

That's not enough information though. As it is called "reward for merit" that implies that you get rewarded for doing something "good" and what I want to know is exactly what that "good" is. If it's just a random drop whether you do "good" or not then where's the merit in that ? Surely if the idea is to make players play more and do more "good", then it would make sense for WoT to clearly state what is required to be rewarded.

For me it is.

Even if the WG tell us the criterias I would not hunt them.

I would still play normally.

It is "merit" in the Soviet Russian sense, comrade. In their game, WG decides what "merit" means. Da.

"You play our game a lot, you get rewards", it is well-merited from WG's point of view, comrade.

It may also not be in your best interest to ask too many questions, comrade.

I believe it is totally random and not effected in any way by your performance in the game for which you are given a reward for merit.

As we said. WG said it was a reward for good battles. Thus the name. But over time it has been proven to be more random than for a merit. As I've gotten it for bad games, losses, wins, great games or meh games. Not gotten it for 20 games, with a few Aces and even courageous resistances. Then I get two in a row for below-average games. It's random. That's it. No merit. The longer you don't get one, the bigger the chance of getting one, even on a bad game. As in the more cracked the padlock icon is, the bigger the chance. That's all there is to it. RNG.

Received one yesterday, just after checking the shop but not buying anything.

Could that be a trigger for it?

Yup, after reading some of the responses I realized both the event and the 5-lock thingy than we get playing randoms is called the same.
