Bit of a debate in our team chat as to what constitutes reaching Level 10 in Team Clash - can the mods confirm if this is reaching Tier 10 or needing to complete Tier 10 (effectively getting to Tier 11).

As ever with WG it's a bit unclear and there will be a mighty number of ****ed off people if their definition differs to what some may assume.

Cheers

Well, rules state:  "The final reward you will receive after completing the 10th stage of team progression is a unique "zero-Skill" custom commander with the appearance and voiceover of a famous content creator, with the Sixth Sense Perk."

I interpret that as completing level 10 and not just reaching level 10. But that's just me and so I decided to go for safe and reach level 11.

That's my interpretation as well but knowing WG... .

It also says "10th stage of team progression" so imho your personal stage doesnt matter.

That is a mistake on the article. You actually need level 10 on the personal progression.

As about what does level 10 mean, I guess reaching level 10, because is where you unlock the last reward.

But, to be fair, I had the same doubt, so I got to level 13, just to be safe.

Level 24 - just to be sure. And those bonds, credits and universal fragments are always welcomed.

I don't think it is actually a complete mistake in the article - you need to reach level 10 in the personal progression, but the team also needs to reach level 10 in the team progression to unlock the commander. But as all teams have reached level 10 by now, that's now a non-issue.

I reached level 10 earlier this week by playing TC, meanwhile I have unlocked level 11 just by completing the daily missions.

I just got to lvl10 yesterday evening, so I was quite thrilled... But then I remembered reading somewhere (official forum or Discord) we would need 600pts to get the final reward (CC tank commander). So that would in fact mean reaching lvl11 (because we started at lvl1 with 0 pts).

I am confused... :) I guess I will have to grind 60 more points this weekend, to be on the safe side...

You started on level 1, you have to complete level 10. (This is different to how they usually do it)

The big number should be 11 or higher.

I foresee many angry players missing out by being one level too low.

Just another example lots of WG employees don't play the game. Info is often unclear and/or lacking details.

I read it as - the TEAM (not you personally) has to finish stage 10 - not you yourself have to reach leve 10 to get the commander.

as I understand we get the commander no matter how much personal progress we made.

PS: I am level 4 now

You receive the last reward as soon as you reach stage 10.

That's what the rules say but it wouldn't surprise me if there was another personal requirement that they didn't manage to communicate.

Note how it says "team progression". I suspect they mean personal but who knows...

You receive the customisation element at level 10 personal - team had already gone past lvl 10 but I'd imaging both are required to get the reward.

I can't see getting the 4 skill commander just for signing up & not contributing to the team by getting to lvl 10 personally.

I suspect it got lost in translation. It's not the first time.

You need to be at Level 10 to get the Commander:

"The main event trophies (for your personal and team progress) await you at ten stages of team progression. Reaching new stages of personal progression, you also contribute to your team’s progression. Upon reaching each new stage, you get a reward, but only if your personal progression level is equal to or higher than your team progression stage."

I fear that too - but - judging by the UI design it also does not imply

that we have to reach or go past level 10 to get the commander as the picture of said person is outside of the scale.

that only applies to the "trophies" we can get from level 1 through 10 as I read it :)

It would be typical for WG to allow someone to bot one game in the winning team and get the 4 skill Commander :D
