I really hate those "do x in x out of 10 battles" missions... What most often happens is, I complete the objective in the first few battles, and when I need to do it just that one last time, I can't get it within the remaining battles...and it resets.

Honestly just wanna Alt+F4 when that happens.

Plus, I vent in chat because of it, which often results in chatbans, all because of missions... Seriously, the biggest source of frustration and anger in this game, is not the RNG, the MM, the teammates...it's the missions. If I didn't have some sort of mission to do, I couldn't care less about what happens in battle.

Of course the logical solution to this would be to stop playing for the missions, and just ignore them...but how do you ignore the plethora of rewards you can get from them? Credits, Prem days, slots, Free XP, Bonds... Valuable resources...so close, yet so far away.

I know, with the right tanks, any mission is doable. All it takes to complete them is lots of patience. Losing your sanity is just a side-effect. :)

Capping missions in heavies are the most annoying missions currently available.

Why would you incentives capping with the "slowest" class in the game? Heavies are supposed to be at the front line in most cases, not in the cap while the rest of the team is fighting an actual battle.

But yeah, having to complete a mission in a certain number of tries (Total RNG) is not a good way to design missions. They should be about skill, not about random chance.

I second the capping one, missions requireing capping are the worst. Also some arty missions are super assenine like this one which requires you to stun something and then have a ally kill it like who came up with that? when does that ever happen??? Ridicilous.

Bounce missions are the biggest pile of manure.

The 279e missions are all about consistency. It challenges you to perform at a certain level more often. They are imo the best kind of missions since luck isn't really a factor in it unlike in other missions. These conditions are quite easily doable in single battles but the trick indeed is to keep up the consistency and fulfill the conditions multiple times. The ''3 times in 10 battles'' type are actually quite easy when compared to the 3 or 4 consecutive battles.

And no, missions still aren't an excuse for you to rage in chat, nothing is...

Also, these missions are basically "2 times in 9 battles".... because you can reset after each game.

Yes that too. 2 ace tankers in 19 battles was quite easy for a 15th, the ultimate test of skill, mission :D

Blocking missions. You get on a decent run in position but nobody is stupid enough to keep bouncing off you, 2 key or HE or your team falling around you make it impossible.

Feel your pain. I am just as frustrated as you are, and I am only at the Chimera missions yet. At this point I am more excited about completing the missions themselves just so that after I don't have to worry about finishing them – and don't have to play tank classes which I don't want to, looking at you, light tanks – , than about acquiring the 279 (e) itself.

They stress me out, but I also can't just leave them unfinished… The human psyche one major paradoxical mess up in evolution, for sure.

Cobra 6

Exactly, that's the point! They challenge players to do them with total RNG fate. Once I done a mission, deal 4k damage with TD and destroy 3 internal modules. I done the condition with Foch 155 HE, I dealt 3,993 damage... I never forgot it, and I couldn't hit anyone after that....

Encounter mode helps a lot with def/cap missions for me. They still can be painful, though.

Block missions at present with the HE spam are near on impossible. Saying that I did just complete the bloc one for the chimera but that was after 3 weeks or so of trying.

The cap ones are not that bad as you have the opiont of resenting the cap to but blocking missions are the problem. Most games now don’t last long enough either.

3 times health points + 3 k damage for the 260 is making me want to cry.

Isn't the most frustrating part that it isn't a "rolling average" for do x in x and instead you have to constantly reset it until you meet requirements in your first battle?

That.

A normal person would use cover and try to win the battle, but for some reasons WG thinks that blocking X amount is somehow good.

There are a few missions that are abs  stupid sadly.

But the bounce ones, wow such a terrible design. Even the obj 260, t 55-a missions were pretty hard, but you needed to do it once.

For obj 279 e you need to bounce consistently over 10 games for some missions, something that might seem trivial but it gave me such a really hard time.

all arta missions, bouncing missions, capping missions, kill or damage a certain class which you then never see for x many battles

the missions are just an random clown fiesta as to completing them

actually the worse mission is completing an easier one whilst meeting the requirements for a tough one but you didn't have it selected  REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
