How much do they pay for posting videos on forum without a single word in it?

Approx. 5 croissants/week.

Expect a strike soon... workers demand the chocolate croissants, not the regular ones.

Seriously. They put a  title "Future changes in WOT" and then we have no bloody idea what that actually means because nothing can be seen.

Less, Vodka,  dudes , step up ya game!

Is this where they strip away long time favourites from the lower tiers to encourage people to play the more profitable for the company higher tiered tanks?

Future changes in WoT with Eek:

- Arty will be removed from the game completely as we will never be able to properly balance it.

- All maps will be redesigned within a few months making sure they don't all feature 2-3 viable corridors with wasted instant-death zones in between.

- All the over-armoring of the heavy tanks will be removed, armor values will go back to where they were in 2014 when they were balanced.

- Viable frontal weakspots will be re-introduced on all heavy tanks that skilled players can engage with standard ammo.

- After these two armor changes, we will completely remove gold- / premium- / special ammo (whatever term we've come up with this year) from the game as it no longer serves a purpose and because not only we, but also the players, have found out it's impossible to balance. You simply can't balance armor against two vastly different penetration values at the same time.

- Light tanks from tier 8 upwards won't be artificially handicapped anymore with low penetration, high penetration drop-off and terrible accuracy.

- Platoon matchmaking will no longer artificially punish platoons by giving them harsher MM (putting them at the bottom more often), platoons will no get the same MM as a single random player (platoons will still be equal on both teams).

- HE redesign will be cancelled as it's no longer needed due to the armor changes explained above. Normal ammo will be viable again against heavy armor so HE is no longer needed for this.

- We will stop introducing premium tanks which are blatantly better then same tier standard counterparts and we'll stop selling the premiums that were from this moment onwards.

- We will stop putting compulsory free-XP sinks in every new tech-tree line, usually around tier 7 or 8 and we'll make sure each tank is at least competitive when fully upgraded.

But I'm curious what the real big announcement will be and if it even gets *CLOSE* to being so good as the above package..... I'm open to pleasant surprises as always.

Block Quote

Remember Sandbox server and the shell rework? Well, Wargaming has finalized their data gathering and are gearing up to launch the final Test server where everyone will be welcome to playtest the changes.

This is a very very important time for the game. If these changes pass, Wargaming will go back to buffing / nerfing and reworking tanks once more. However, if the changes are a major fail, Wargaming will cut them from the game.

What should you expect?

Global shell rework. AP buffs, HE rework – all HE shells lose their penetration values, Premium ammo stays the same.

HP buffs to all tiers – Finally lower tiers will get some love and be far more forgiving.

UNCONFIRMED – Tech Tree Rework. Wargaming is getting ready to cut a lot of lower tier vehicles from the game to “streamline” the tech trees. However, Wargaming might not be ready to release this just yet.

On top of it all, expect rewards for playtesting, just like with the “old school WoT 0.7.0 “comeback.

Rest of the information is set to be revealed on Monday, February 10th. Stay tuned, comrades!

You mean the one where we, testers, said it was a horrible idea to pigeon hole tanks into defined roles and where the much increased penetration drop-off would be a bad thing? After which WG instead of nerfing penetration went on to instead over-armor tanks to effectively get the same end result?

When you nerf HE (the viable alternative to paying money (directly or indirectly) to shoot gold ammo) while leaving the broken gold-ammo the same, the quality of gameplay will only further deteriorate.
