Today, I played a couple of platoon battles with my clan mate. We both have Wot Premium Account.

In the Detailed report tab, I always saw a 10% increase in credits for 'playing in a platoon'.

Is this correct?

From the WoT premium account sale page:

PLATOON BONUS

In a Platoon, World of Tanks Premium Account holders receive a 15% credit bonus. Also, Platoon members who are not holders receive a 10% bonus.

Are you sure you have world of tanks premium account and not wargaming premium account? Because it sure sounds like you have the latter which would give you only 10% credit bonus from your friends WoT premium account.

Easiest way for you to check is in this web pages top right corner. Or in game for example see if you have the vault enabled or if you can exclude 2 maps instead of 1.

Yes, I checked, double-checked and triple-checked. It says "World of Tanks premium account", and I excluded 2 maps. Funny thing: when I uploaded one of my replays to wotreplays.eu to go and check the detailed report, it does not include ANY platoon bonus in the credit section! Am I going nuts?

Edit: Maybe I am not going nuts; the games I played in platoon were Team Clash! Maybe the bonuses are different there?

WG is a bit sneaky there: The +15% are relative to your base income without the +50% PA bonus. So if you compare it with your PA income it only looks like +10%.

Top of your platoon window it should show the bonus you are getting.

I have never really bothered to check the accountancy because it's really not worth my time.

That is not sneaky..you get the bonus also without PA and like with everything else like x2, x3, x5 etc XP it is always calculated from the base credits/XP.

All depends on your POV, as always with percentages. Most people read +15% as relative to their PA income. As in general the PA bonus comes on top of all other (relative) bonuses. And with boosters they also just state the basic bonus, not the without/with PA bonus values separately.

Typical "internet age" , you "potentially" find something that may be advantageous to you and whats the first thing you think of,, going on the forums to blab about it.... Whatever happened to keeping schtuum and enjoying the ill gotten gains you have found until it got discovered naturally.

Boy, you must be a special kind of ... special. If you played this game, you would know that the advertised platoon bonus is 15%, and I only saw 10%.

Yeah, very "advantageous", fantastic "ill gotten gains".

Maybe you should try, you know, learn about things before commenting. OR read the title that says "ONLY 10%". But I guess that's the "internet age"...

That is how the bonuses for XP and credits always work. The percentage or multplier is always calculated from base raw value (XP or credits).

EDIT: But stacking bonuses helps a lot though anyway.

Let's say you have premium account and have a pretty mediocre game and you dab the 2 key for extra skill and still get rekt:

You make 50k credits and have 40k bill for ammo and repairs.

You make 10k profit, right?

But if you havea 50% credit booster, you make actually 35k profit. 50k *1.5 = 75k and minus 40k is 35k.

So in reality it's way more than a 50% increase.
