a few weeks ago I destroyed 10 tanks in a SU 100 I had the 260missions to do which was destroy 6 tanks, the map was tundra and I ended up with 10 kills (we still lost) obviously the stuck out in my mind given it was the most tanks I had destroyers in one game(the su. 100 is a bit op) when I looked at my service record it said max kills in one game 10..last night I went on my service record again and now it says 8 kills? It’s not a huge deal but just wondering why it would have changed ?

Well do you have a replay, screenshot or any other evidence of your 10 kills game? Your SU-100 record also states maximum kills at 8.

In case you don't have any evidence for it... Is it possible you were too drunk to remember correctly or asleep dreaming when playing that battle?

haha mate, why so serious.
listen I don’t drink and I don’t have a screen shot but I know it was 10. I would say I am not that fussed but I must be a little fussed to post. Stats are stats and not that important(the missions was all that mattered) I was just curious as to has this happened to anyone else.

Let me guess... you don't have a replay of this 10 kill game.

You are all far to suspicious on here.
Can I ask why do you think anyone would lie about this?
Scrub that question and let me rephrase it, why would any normal person want to lie about it?

Might not be a lie, just mistaken. So do you have the replay?

 I wasn’t mistaken.

to be honest I wouldn’t even know how to get a reply.

listen it really isn’t that important like I said just curious as to if this has happened before if I knew people would start doubting my honesty(mistaken is a nice way of saying don’t believe you) I wouldn’t have bothered but thanks for the constructive help gents.

Is it possible that you played that game on a test server?

The replies were joking because it's quite an... unlikely... event.

No, nobody has ever heard of results disappearing so that's why people asked for evidence.
The only evidence we have is your word so that's what we have to question.

Either you are unique in all of WoT history among tens of millions of players with billions of battles played or... we have to doubt your word/memory.

P.S. If you want credibility I wouldn't mention that you don't know how to find replays after 27,000 battles.

Well, it's Ockham's razor. What is more likely? The game of one user have been wiped of the server without anyone else noticing a server hiccup? Or the user in question mistaken the number of kills he had?

You are correct i don't believe that the record changed, but the doesn't mean that you are lying. You will your replays in the WOT folder in a folder called replays. if you don't have them enabled then do that as it's the best way to see yourself if you think something strange has happened.

If you had gotten 10 kills, you'd have a Pool's medal, but you don't have that either.

To this day I am amazed that folk still don't have replays ticked.

However i know that for every great game i've had I've always took a screen shot of the results screen at the very least just to fap over the epeen later

Never heard of medals going missing from the day before tho etc on the service record. The only time that has happened, is if you play a game that's done, or is not allowed to be done right when the server hamster dies and crashes. And I mean you are kicked out of the game the second you get back to the garage. Then it might happen as the server reset wipes out the last battle. But if you logged out as normal. He would remember it.

You are all far to suspicious on here.

Well quite a few people here have IT backgrounds and are familiar with process around storing and retrieving digital data. You see with every battle fought there is a lot of data generated, some of it is just temporary but most of it is stored for historical and statistical value, it is stored in a database.

With that said what you claim to be true would imply the following.

1. There would have to be a database rollback where data values would be reverted to a previous state. That would affect almost every player. We would see a lot more posts about it here, so we can rule that out

2. Someone would have to manually change the database table values specifically for your account. And I highly doubt someone would risk their job and criminal charges just to tamper with your account data. Not many people have access to databases, and they have change and audit logs. We can rule this one out as well.

3. There are server hickups and issues where things like this might happen if the database is briefly not available for whatever reason, but again it would affect more than just you.

You can see why people might be very suspicious of such crazy claims, and with out a screen shot or a replay...they are considered just that...crazy unsubstantiated claims.

Thanks for that. Not that computer savvy to be honest but I will have a look. Could you break it down a bit more for me how do I actually find out if reply’s are enabled and how do to find them?

A guy once claimed his dad created the universe and now 2.4 billion people believe this, despite a complete lack of evidence.  Asking for a replay is not an unreasonable request.
