Low earnings with premium vehicles? You obviously use too many special ammunition or maybe you don't do enough damage to earn good silvers.

On average, when I play without boosters, I make about 80k per game with tier 8s , well over 100k with active boosters.

Obviously I also have the premium time bonus.

First of all don't be a troglodyte and shoot gold all the time, you don't have to shoot every enemy that appears near you no matter what, Jezus freaking Chryst.

I play Chrisler and Lansen almost every day now and have no problem making decent credits without premium account and i never use gold ammo even in some situations when i should be.

When i first bought Lansen on BM, i also bought 1 day premium account and managed to grind 4million credits in one day just by playing Lansen, was trying to grind credits for next BM offer.

Spotting damage also helps, on my Chrystler i have optics and binocilars, so when i go head first in to battle and sidescrape on good position, even if i can't always make good shots, il be able to farm good spotting damage, sometimes even ~3k

I play this game for over 8 years and i remember those days when you earn 100k easly! and now! with iter 8 you are forced to shot gold and you earn barely 30k!

I don't believe to pay that much for a trash!

 from: fool collector!

8 years back the tanklines where more expensive to grind down(example is the German line)

You didnt get credit boosters....ect or extra pay outs  from missions..

Nowadays when you logg in you always gotr some missions to be done and they reward ya with extra consumbles or credits.

Or it is the that you didn't follow the global raise in skill. There are now many more good players out there - it is difficult not to have a full stuffed unicum in either team, draining all the damage.

100k per game was never easy. 50-70k was and still is normal income, on a good game without boosters.

You can average 100k per game net profit only with booster on.

Was averaging 100k plus quite often in my old days with tanks like the Jagt 88/KV-5 and Lowe, in fact I remember when the Lowe was a worse credit earner than both of them and how tight the Lowes aim circle was on the 1st day of release.

I do have screenshots of average rolls somewhere too. Ground my 4 skill tier 10 crews in those tanks. Looking at the screenshots it's clear I dont do as well these days, we are talking 2011/12./13/14 then we see my performance tail off then long breaks. But I certainly remember when some game dynamics changed that I was not earning as much.

Earning 100k net credits has never been "easy" for us mere mortals.

Great games would net 100k net profit but you have to top the scoreboard for that, averages of 50k net on a decent but not spectacular match are the norm.

I think this impression that premium tanks earn less comes from gold ammo and/or prem consumables overuse, where even a great match with a premium tank and prem account will net little in terms of profits (only a monster game would earn a good amount in that case).

Also, some newer premium tanks have very high repair bills compared to older ones, and their ammo cost per damage done is also higher.

It's not really about that, its just a simple fact that no one wants to admit, they do adjust and change things in game that do affect credit earners. Maybe some power creep. but deal your own unassisted 3k damage in todays Jgt 88 in comparison to in 2012 and it's certainly not the same income for me, used to have "good" KV-5 games with 150k plus profit.

Certainly cannot grind 6 mill with a casual weekend credit grind myself these days but did back then.

And with the increase in HP and ammo nerfs n "buffs" we can be sure more players will lose credits, only took me one evening on the sandbox server to see I will be playing a lot less WoT when it goes live.

Only thing that's changed is the need to shoot more gold ammo to pen the additional armour that's crept into the game and the 3/5/7 matchmaker.  Cuts down the choice of tanks if you want to shoot non premium so that you make a profit.

I don't get this impression (that they nerfed credits on prem tanks).

However, playing for fun and playing to get max credits in a match are completely two different play styles, especially with failed MM and collapsing teams. So, often one must choose whether to try to get max credits possible or to play for fun.

One thing that impacts the credit earnings is, as CmdRatScabies pointed above. Due to armor creep and other concerns you must shoot more gold now than before, which might result in lower earnings per match.

In the old days we had a site with stats of average net income per tank, and the stats were clear for almost all premium tanks: a constant decline in average income

Economy is something all games tweak, they are part of the hidden parameters.

Also not having -/+ 3mm doesn’t help especially with the scout tanks as I remember easily earning a profit of over 100,000 credits in the likes of the type 64 simply by sitting in a bush and mostly not firing lol.,

Which ones did they change and how?

Well I know they changed every tanks credit income as now you can lose the battle and get a drop in credits, when before it would just be a minor amount of credit gained. Its most noticeable in skirmishes. I believe WG wanted to reward the winners more, and whilst doing that punish the losers a tad.

There are also hidden stats the devs mess about with that can make a new tank hit more often until they re adjust it to miss more frequently.

Only fix is to just ignore the fact your favourite tanks have been nobbled and just enjoy the battle, playing lower tiers when the bank get low. That's what I do anyhow most of the time.

WG did not change the tanks.  Space Aliens riding Unicorns did.  And they made the earth flat.

Fact is though, between 2011 and 2014 I was making way more credits than I do now, makes having over a years premium time worthless.

I think I rack up about 1 million net credits a week.

Don't know what to do with it TBH

I never use premium ammo with my premium tier 8s (shame on me as a Dinger) because I want to earn silver with them. Even for T-34-3, 112 and Alpine Tiger I use only standard AP and when I have no chance to pen, then HE. Yesterday I made ~1million within 2 hours only playing with Alpine Tiger, without income-increasing directives. I think it's not bad, especially with a badly powercreeped tank.

I started playing WoT on PS4. When my kids took over the PS4 I moved over to PC. I can confidently say that the standard of play is significantly higher on the PC. I was an average player on the PS4 but would still have a bunch of high-grossing games in my tier 8 premiums, not so much on PC (yet). I imagine the standard of play on PC is constantly going up because most of the player base are veterans by now. So, if you played some back in the day and then come back now you´re going to struggle more to get good games at tiers 8-10.
