Scip to 53 seconds.  Only a short video.

Worth a watch about gun stabs and accuracy that ARE NOT REPRESENTED in this game.

Out

Well, this is an arcade game, not a simulator.

And considering the complaints about EBR stabilization, I don't think many would appreciate a tank with a real gun being able to do the same.

You do know that this is an arcade game. Balance is not a factor vs how that gun work in real life. But rather on how not to make it broken. If that hit on the move like that all the time. You could argue it would be.

Then again... there is the 152mm at point-blank range joke we have done before.

Spoiler

"We need much larger maps if we want to keep SPGs and this particular player in the game." - said nobody at WG's HQ.

I know its just a game, but it is supposed to be at least at base reflect reality, otherwise it may as well be levitating laser space tanks.

Ignoring the stabilization, British tank guns were for a long period of time, the most accurate guns in the world, and frequently the most powerful as well. The 6lb is usually in game a semi derp in terms of accuracy, the British 105 was a gun that was so good it was copied or adopted directly by most nations, the 120 was the best tank gun in the world for many years.
Sadly, in game, they usually are underepresented in all respects.

The 2nd gen Lada used there was made between 1980 and 2010. Even with that armor, it's outside of WOT's focus era.

Nice vid. Yes, it does open the eye to how unlike the real-life version the WoT rendered version is. One question would be what model Cent is the video showing?

The film talks about it having a 20 pdr gun, which would probably make it a Centurion Mk 3.

Edit - Just re-checked the film and it’s from 1952, which would also tally with it being a Centurion Mark 3

Technically (as in the tech in the car) it's a car from 1960-70s.

There is one other game featuring tanks, planes and ships, it has quite more realistic approach if one wish to play those modes...

Yea its a MKIII

Its a shambles really

I made this post after a game session the other night.

Sand river.  I was in the Cent 5/1.

There was a hull down T44-100 around 300 meters away on the west hill. I was hull down on a dune to the south.  It was late game and we started shooting each other with in the turret.  I didn't move as at first i didn't know he was gonna shoot gold. And I wanted to keep my turret steady.  I was high HP and thought heck, I'm gonna sit and exchange.

So he puts a gold through my turret. I miss as the shell lobs to the edge of the circle.  He puts shot after shot into me with no issue.  I went left, right and up and down around the circle.  Not one on target.

That's with a 488% crew, BIA and vents, prob running a vent purge aswell.  I just sat and ran the experiment.  Not bothered at the game, just the result of this exchange.  Oh he was moving back and fourth as well.
