Hello Commanders,

 

I am Olix, an romanian player and I would like to show you my intentions.

if anyone want to donate anything in game you can find me in EU server with nickname olix_vameshu.

All hangars are made to work with or without Hangman.

Scripts for working without hangman are created by goofy67

Sound banks are rebuilded by DrWeb7_1

You can find me on discord with nickname olix_vameshu#7800

 

I know updates for Hangars take to much time. That's because personal problems,family,work place,etc. are a priority.

And since this game mods took a lot of your free time and doesn't bring you any facilities, I don't see it as something where you have to be punctual with.

Anyway, I don't know how much of you understand this but i hope to see more patience from you and maybe a little support.

 

But now lets get to bussiness.

Everytime when a micropatch or an normal update(not a major one) will come from WG, mods should be updated frequently,but since time for me is so precious i decided to change a little bit the mecanicof the hangar mods.

1.  From now on, all hangars will be splitted in 2 mod parts and i will explain why"

  • Resources mod (this mod contains models,textures and some files that no need updated, so they can be used to every update)
  • Space mod(this mod contains scripts, space folder and maybe audioww files which must be updated frequently or at least at major updates).

2. All outside hangars which come with a customization hangar will be rebuilded and that means:

  • Customization hangar with all lights and environment will be deleted, customization of the vehicle will be made in the main possition of the hangar with the same environment)
  • Indoor hangars like Hangar Premium V2 and V1, Hangar V2 and V1, GuP, "Batcave" remain untouched.

3.Sound are lost for most of the hangars, but since there is no resources to recover the originality of sounds and music, they wil be changed with some actual one from maps and original hangar.

4. I reworked almost all my hangars and made them in such a way to not make any conflict with others, so they can be used all in Hangman.

5. Almost all hangars received the platoon system, but not all recieved the nation flags.

Important note:

Resources mod can be used for all updates, just need to be moved from the old update to the new one(ex: move from game directory/mods/1.11.0.0 to game directory/mods/1.12.0.0)

Space mod can be used in micropatched by simply repeating the up steps, but for major updates need to be redownloaded and replaced the old ones.

Hangar Igr (Bat Cave)

Hangar Igr or The Bat Cave used to be the temporarly hangar from version 0.8.x 

Unfortunately, the hangar does not have the original sounds, we're working on this.

However, it has the ambient sounds and music of the steel hunter. Nobody likes a muted hangar.

Added animation for flags, turret swing and some workers in background

The hangar is taken from the CN server, and is made especially for China's National Day by Wargaming.

Getting back the old garages is neat ! Not that i dislike the current one....

I especially like the old one i started with, the one that was used in 7.0

EN: I converted the models to actual version, I will post some photos in weekend with the progress of it.

 

In some minutes hours I wilĺ post some screen shots of unfinished Hangar V2. Old particle effect are not working anymore, sounds and music also,I adapted something fron Hangar v3. In rest I just need to add some decals, but they are .dds and .dds is new for me.

Why does music work in earlier version of your mod, but now not?

Earlier you wrote that "old sound banks are not compatible anymore" but don't you wonder why it's still working on an earlier version (of your mod)?

Because they are using another version of wwise(program who deals with sound and music in game) and now the old bnk sounds are not working anymore :( and this is sad.

Wait a sec... which version do you speak about? 

 

This is 1.0 version of your mod.
You can still dowload it from wgmods.net (for wot 1.6.1.3)
This mod (1.0 version) still works with the current version of game client along with the music.

I changed it and removed the erroneous commands.

Thank you, but people must wait a little :( i just upgrade my laptop with a new 1TB  m.2 nmve, and by accident i made the partition dinamic, now i need to reinstall windows on old hdd to recover every thing . :D

 

Ok maybe the music is working but not the ambient sounds, so what I want to ask is, can the ambient from the actual version be included in xml? 

Then check if it works with hangman of Goofy67,if the music starts and ambient also.

I checked it and it works (but there only one ambient: summer_wind_01 <-- this is in actual version of your mod)

 

I also have other good news. I found old game files with old ambients etc..., but I don't know how to implement them into the game yet.

Just perfect bro, old one may work, but I don't know the name inside the bank to add them in chunks.

There are the files I found (.bnk and .ogg <- audio files)

These are files for the premium garage and separate for the normal garage.

Maybe you can do something with this.

 

At the moment I don't know how to implement them into the game.

I think I'll try to do something with this, but I don't know what will happen.

Hmmm verry weird, if you use wwise, can't you see the event name? Like i don't know... hangar drill, or hangar gate, etc.

To be honest, I've never used wwise.
I am a kid who likes to view game files.
I didn't create mods before, so I can't do much.
