if you don't play clan wars or other competitive modes, it makes no sense to spend bonds on equipment

I am a big van of vents. It gives boost to everything. And my most important stats: accuracy, bloom and aim time.

not sure why'd you need 2,5% increase to crew/loading and 5% to dispersion in randoms.

You prob should just save them and get something thats usefull in randoms

and why is that? i would guess that +5% on loading speed (rammer+vents) would come in handy whatever mode you play.

Im sure 0,32 seconds into reload ( obvs depends on the gun ) will help in randoms.
You're better off just using food and saving bonds to something usefull

Why not? They are simply a passive boost to your tank, and their effects are more likely to be greater in randoms since a much larger portion of players there have muppet crews and equipment loadouts than in CW.

Go buy a Patriot instead. Costs about the same and is by far the better option imo.

it will help in randoms the same as in CW. food will add 0,64 seconds, according to that logic, which is also wow!

im not f2p, have (more than) enough prem tanks, for me is bond equipment the only thing worth buying. gets you a slight advantage over the others. and it lasts forever, unlike the directives.

Due to the high cost involved for bond equipment (about 5000 for a single piece), make sure that you really enjoy the tank you want to upgrade.

Also, master it, know the little & unique things about it. Certain spots or tactics that just work better with said tank.

This way you'll get the most out of the bond equipment. Else you'll just end up with a very expensive equipment that will only help you once in a blue moon.

I use bond equipment on my KV-4, two main reasons are: I play it alot & I play it well so giving it an extra edge helps the way I play it & the costs can be justified.

Of bond equipment, I'd pick optics or vents before bonds rammer. Why is that? Because you pick bond equipment to get a little extra edge in most situations; Optics make you see camo'd tanks just that little bit easier or spot that red a bit faster. Always useful.

Second would be vents, as the bond vents are quite the upgrade compared to the normal one. Will give you that little extra edge in most tight situations due to the general buff it gives (make sure your crew has BiA for even better edge)

Third would be either vertical stabilizer or rammer, depending on what the tank needs more (also why i pick vents above these two for bonds; vents boost both a little bit). the extra boost from bond rammer isn't that noticeable really, unless you got a long reload. Bond vertical stabilizer has a better boost & hence is a good pick if your gun doesn't aim that fast.

Note that above suggestions depend if you already use the regular equipment & want to upgrade it. So if your tank doesn't use optics, don't go & get the bonds equipment, but rather pick what your tank does use as equipment.

I put imp. optics on my t100lt and vents on my 277. But that was before directives, which are another choice.

The fact that you have to pay bonds to unmount improved equipment is a real and unfair pain versus directives.

Pretty neat. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of bond equip, especially if the battle pass makes it onto live someday.

But if you want to get equip, I'd suggest optics over stab/vents. VR is key imo.

Russian heavies are best at close combat. What matters more in a close combat fight, reload speed or aimtime? Definitely reload speed. I'd go for vents and rammer. Then I'd just buy vents and rammers for the other tanks I own, I don't think stabs are worth it.

From another viewpoint:
Improved vents are 50% better than normal vents, in contrast vstabs and rammer are only 25% better than normal equipment. Bond ventilation gives the highest edge over normal equipment.

yep..

i see that. I bought Rammer and Vent for 9k. I can use that combo in german tanks as well. I want to try to pimp the JT88 which I use binoc/rammer/vents.. So i can max out DPM for fun. i think i can get 3.5 sec reload with rammer directive/food/bond rammer/bond vents.

There is no combo with Optics..

yeah, if you drive lights or meds... but the question was about russian heavies- in that case its rammer, vents, egld or vert stab.

I have optics on pretty much all my tanks, except the Hetzer and a handful others. Even HTs, since the small benefit vents give in close-combat is not as good as 30-40m extra VR in late-game situations. But I guess that's personal preference.
