At the moment I'm on IS-2 II and it's decent, but a little bit paper tank (hull of course). The fun begins on IS-3 II, but ... and apparently ends there. The ST-II is not a good tank. I will see in practice what he can do :)

Playing these tanks is not exactly rocket science. The only things you really have to do are 1) to hide your hull whenever possible and 2) to keep in mind that in many situations it is better to fire single shots rather than to desperately try to place double shots. Those double shots are a constant temptation because how cool they are, but DPM-wise it is usually significantly better to stick to single fire.

GLD is not needed when you can mount Vstab, mount Coated Optics instead so you are not a burden to your team being completely blind.

Personally, I agree and recommend this. Others might disagree and still be successful on the battlefield with other set-ups however. :)

I almost reached the T10. The T8 is not too bad once you get past the stock gun.

So many times I have died making this mistake... :teethhappy:

Well, others might be successful by taking a toolbox or enhanced suspension, doesn't mean it's a smart choice for an equipment slot though no matter how you look at it :D

when you will publish a general learn to play article, might be useful for quite some part of wot population.
