What happened to that new format of mission marathon they used for the TS-5 and EBR (with tier 9 mastery missions and top 10s, wins and other things for commitment missions) and why all of a sudden are these marathons 10 days long with near enough 250,000 base xp required.

That EBR and TS-5 format was far more fun to take part in. This new format is just gonna lead to burn out of the player base.

10 days is hardly a marathon, it's more of a sprint.

A month-long event would be a marathon. Just like back in the day. I prefer marathons.

There's nothing special about this tank,if i get it playing normaly good,if not it's no big deal.

190 standard pen on a medium released in 2020,when most other recent mediums pack at least 212,are you serious?

It's like the chrysler, you play it to spam gold ammo, not to make credits, even though it's a premium tank.

Sorry, but I would rather have this base xp grind fest than 25 WINS and top 10 mixed in. Problem with those is when half your team is on a base xp mission, they generally yolo die as asap whereas you are actually actively trying to win.

All marathons are bad for gameplay, so if you want the tank, suck it up, turn brain off and keep on trucking.

If you don't I suggest lover tiers just for fun or avoid the game.

What it looks like is they are making the marathons a bit harder, but what they are actually doing is making them as grindy as hell.

IS-6 or T26E4 marathon you mean? IIRC the T-44-100 was the last one to use that format. As in get a few 100K XP per nation in 4 weeks. I think the IS-6 "with fewer nations mind you" had 100K XP with tier 6 only per nation, with Japan added halfway in. T26E4 had the same for tier 4+. Then they started with 150K XP and 150K damage pr nation on the WZ-111. That was not done in 10 days. Tho it was also the first event with tokens to skip nation groups.

Tbh I like the shorter more group focused events we have had of late vs those. But... mixing it up a bit pr mission vs just XP is not the worst idea either. As they did on the EBR.

I got the Type 62, WZ-111, T-44-100 and Progetto 46 for free, from completing those marathons. After those I had to spend some money to get the EBR, SU-130, Renegade...

WG know what they're doing. They know shorter sprints are harder to complete, so they make those instead. The longer ones didn't bring them as much money, because they were in fact easier. Sucks for us, works for business.
