Many factors are making me rethink whether to ditch WOT and go for WOWS. However I feel like the WOWS is much easier game. From what I saw and played briefly its mostly:

  • angle away slightly
  • learn to avoid torps
  • point and click.
  • Learn which ships you can pen even when angled

No real skill to it or sense of tactics. Just sail around on auto throttle and point your mouse where you want to fire.

Again not ragging on WOWS. Just my observation from someone who only saw 200 battles at best and handful of YT channels

Did anyone find that the game is much more casual than WOT?

WoWS's I find quite boring, it's very two dimensional sailing around on a mill pond.

When I'm not playing WoT...I'm playing WoWP's, which is not as difficult as WoT but much better than WoWS's.

Whats a WOWP's?

Women of the World Poetry Slam :teethhappy:

I tried WOWS. Hell I started with WOWS initially. But felt like every ships is arty. Shooting in excess of 15km at each other.

I heard WarThunder is better when it comes to aerial battles. And every time I tried to YT any World of Warplanes video. They are all old. As if no one plays. Idk

I did try WT, but I didn't really like it, I was an alpha tester on it. Having a lead indicator to show where to shoot is a bit silly, WoWP's had that too but removed it.

WoWP's was redone from the original, it's much more tactical and it's population is growing.

For me it's handy as it shares Premium Time, Gold and free XP with WoT...ie:- free XP gained in WoT can be used in WoWP's and vice versa.

Lots of free stuff too...including Gold and planes, I think in the last three months I've managed to earn about one months premium time(which works for all three games) and about 3,500 gold and six premium aircraft(lowish tiers) just playing one game every day plus some simple events.
