So guys, can anyone explain why it turns so badly? on paper i cant see any reason for it, it has better mobility and ground resistance values that lorr 40t, but from what i have seen on

streams and youtube, its just doesnt turn like at all, i dont have it myself yet, on stage 9 currently. It seems so odd, that a very mobile tank cant circle anything.

Is it because of the way tracks turn? because it cant turn on spot, but instead engaging brakes on one track in order to turn? If thats so, than its just a dumb balance factor.

Can it circle enemies at low speed at least? :D i mean like turetless tds or tracked heavies?

Although its definitelly not the best tank in the game, its unique and something completely new gameplay wise, as 720 alpha in 2 seconds is pretty much the same as the double shot from 703v2, but on a mobile platform.

Borrasque has basically the stock BC-12T engine. So it basically turns just like BC-12T with the stock engine, which is not great.

25 hp/t should be more than enough.

Welcome to WG balance department. Let's not forget about Emill I and Emil 1954 (whatsoever the name).

Same tank, different performance and gun handing. :P

True, that one is odd.

As per the Bourrasque, there's a simple explanation. It failed WoT's litmus test: "Is it Russian?"

Sure but BC-12T has 33 hp/t with the upgraded engine, which is a LOT more than 25 hp/t.

Some tanks use 1 track to turn, others use BOTH....so with some tanks u can turn on place...with others like the NEW one you cant .. That can be the problem. But I am not sure.

Also, with most French (semi) lights tanks they turn like absolute garbage in water. This includes the CDC so hence the (semi) light tanks.

It has good turret traverse and accuracy with auto lock on seems good, so i dont find it has any problems with drive by assassinations, you just need to handbrake around smaller tanks

It's a light with a medium designation. So speed and 40% camo camping and 30% moving. along with that fast burst fire. It needs something to "pull" it back tbh. Stock 12t engine might do that.

It also has a turret that weights 2x less.

Emil 1951.

And they are not the same - WG made them different on purpose when they rebalanced swedish heavies. Emil I has better gun handling when moving, better reload and accuracy. 1951 has better mobility, intra-clip reload, aiming time and gun handling on turret traverse.

WG just missed the fact that extra 2 h.p./t enabled 1951 to reach ~40 km/h on flat while Emil I struggles to go above ~35 km/h and this makes huge difference - much bigger than 3 s longer clip loading...

Isn't that part of the Horsepower per Ton (hp/t) ratio, since you know, the turret is part of that tonnage? :D
