I have set my fps to be locked at 60fps via the Radeon driver.

However I have never seen anyone else do it in their replays and on YT. Its always uncapped.

Is there any benefit to leaving it uncapped? (no I dont have 144hz monitor. Just regular 60hz one)

Should I just leave it uncapped and use in game v-sync?

No point, if your monitor is 60hz....you won't see more than 60fps anyway.

Yeah I figured that part out. Since I have a regular monitor.

Its just that some people claim that v sync causes input lag. Not sure if I should do the v-sync. What do you think?

V sync helps to stop screen tearing if your video card is producing more FPS than your  monitor can handle. If you don't notice screen tearing, then there's no need to use V sync as it can reduce your FPS down to 30-40 fps.

I run with a 60Hz monitor and vsynch.  I once tried turning vsynch off and got horrible sound distortion and lag as if the system was throwing everything at creating unusable frames and leaving nothing for anything else.  That was with the previous game engine though but I work on the principle that if it ain't broke I'm not going to try and fix it.

I see well I will try both ones. For now I have turned off the limiter and turned on the v-sync and tripple buffering. So far its much more smoother.
