I wouldn't recommend going to the trouble of researching the T-54 right now with the proposed sandbox changes which will only add more pain to premium ammo reliant tanks like this. The HEAT-54 is already rather expensive to play so you'll be just getting screwed with a further 20% running costs more than it currently is and of course, your targets that require premium ammo are going to survive for an addition 20% longer than they currently do so the T-54 will struggle to be competitive.

This tank is already on the lower end of the tier9 alpha spectrum with 320 compared to a lot of T9 meds that bang for 390 and of course the Leo PTA bangs for 420. So with the proposed ammo re-balance, your T-54, which most definitely will still need a lot of premium ammo, is still going to knock for 320 while all the other T9 meds that don't need a lot of premium ammo will now be hitting back at you for around 470 instead of 390, so not only do you have to remove more additional buffed sandbox HP from these tanks but you also have to eat more alpha, even though you will also get a HP buff but you get my point, tanks like a T-54 will not be really all that attractive or competitive so just don't bother yet would be my advice.

That said, it's a Russian tank and a pretty iconic tank at that so I would expect the T-54 to get a big buff to pen and possibly gun characteristics sometime soon after the sandbox changes come into effect.

The only way to have 445 viewrange with vents would be to have BiA and both vision perks (recon and situational awareness) maxed out, and run food. Perfectly possible, but I'd rather avoid bleeding over 50k credits per battle if I can.

Why would you lose 50k/battle?

camo net and binos on high tier meds?

If you are not trolling, then this might be one of the reasons why you have 47% winrate.

You're wasting the potential of your tanks if you play with a bush camper setup. These are mobile high DPM machines so you want to be closer to the action (brawling with 430U, support with T-62A which has thin hull armor), let the paper TDs and arty camp the bushes in the rear.

Also, all high tier mediums benefit from both repairs and camo. Usually priority is given to repairs, but on paper things like the new Bourrasque you'd want to go with camo first.
