Yesterday, i got a clan invitation. By experience from years ago, i know clans use broken objects mods to identify where the enemy is. I asked to this person if they had any illegal mods, if i get suspected, i would leave. He replied "No, we only have Tundra". Thanks for being honest lol. im sure they have all of them anyway. By experience i can see the increasing number of illegal mod users in the game. Well nothing can be proven. Yet even the stats can tell a person using an illegal addon. After the addition of map cicrcles and last detection locations to minimap, i stopped using xvm. I can see no other usefull mods can be added to the game after all these years. Zoom out is definetely against competition for leting you to autoaim on an enemy that you can not on vanilla, or mods that request fire. I do not have to try a mod to see that, the guy requests fire on enemy tank just beside me, where i can find the angle to do the same.

By adding anonymous nickname feature, my last hopes for the removal of resmods folder had been destroyed by developers. I see as a sign of them not even thinking about resmods is problematic. I really do not understand how they can be this blind to see resmods is hurting the game for 10 years. Isnt it enough? Isnt it enough a player that has 45% in 300 battles with a tank, "suddenly and magically" learns how to play and starts having 60% winrates and insults me, mocks me the he improved? Improved??

Resmods keep me away from socialising in the game by joining to a clan to fight for a purpose, for years. Resmods disgusts me that useless players "seem to have" better skill than me. Why dont you dear wargaming developers/managers end this Bee-S and simply remove that god damned folder with a mouse click in the soonest update!?

So tell me how removing "resmods" will stop people using either mods or cheats.

well ofcourse there will be screen reading software to be used for automated clicking on fire extingusiher etc but removing resmods means wargaming stops giving information of data to third party. so. ofcourse it will stop cheating. what do you have in mind that i cant see?

What you can't see is that we had mods and cheats before "resmods".

res_mods and mods folders were added to make it easy for WG to disable mods each update so people's game didn't break due to an outdated mod.

That's not an answer.

Removing res_mods and mods won't change anything.  You can install mods by copying over the game files just like we used to.  There were even installers back then which would do it for you.

The res_mods folder does nothing special.

Well, the only thing that the res_mods folder does is make it easier to manage...

That's literally it.

Go to any other online game, literally any other, and see what for cheats etc. they got for those.

All of them have cheats. Every single one of them.
