So I've been thinking about getting one more light tank in tier X. Currently I only have EBR 105 and I'm doing fairly okay with it (73% MoE). I want something additional to give myself a little bit of variety. I play alot in french tanks, they are absolutely my playstyle, BC 25t was my love from the first battle I played in it. I really can't stress how much I love this tank. Even with all the donkey tryhards driving around with their Cheiftards and Ebolas I enjoy this tank and it makes me very much love this game. This is why I decided to go for AMX 13 90 as alot of people claimed it to be one of better and fun lights in this game, and I like it, but it feels a bit too slow (just a tiny bit). I have also read alot of reviews claiming that AMX 13 105 is worse than 13 90 but now that I tested it with T-100LT for around 50 battles, I really (like really, really) like it and I don't understand where is all the hate coming from. For some reason I enjoy it more than T-100LT. It is way faster than I thought and the punchy 3 shot autoloader makes it quite a beast flanker in my opinion. Why does the AMX 13 105 get so much hate? It has quite similar mobility due to better terrain resistences and the gun with food isn't that derpy as people claim it to be. The camo is quite close to T-100 and it has superior view range (by 11 meters). Anyone?

If everyone liked the same tanks, think about how dull the game would be to play. :)

I agree with you. I just really want to know if anyone agrees with me or maybe I'm just having good games in it. I only need to grind 70k for 13 105 and 520k for T-100LT. I really can't be bothered to grind for it if I can have a more enjoyable tank quicker.

Tier X, that is it. Tier for tier is not as good since tier X is where all the balance is gone at the moment.

But, that should not stop you, since it is (probably) a good vehicle, all the "hate" comes from the point that it is a scout, and you are either really useful in a battle or the oppposite.

This is what makes EBR's so good at their job, even a monkey driving across field and dying in 1st minute will get decent spotting dmg.

Most tier 10 meds > EBR > Tier 10 lights.

13-105 is alright, its certainly a more reliable damage dealer than the T-100 (300 alpha with accuracy like a derp tank yay!) but a Bat Chat can do about 90-95% of the spotting job, whilst having way more firepower potential.

Yeah I know people think that but I find the camo adventage in lights very useful, I'm doing alot of spotting as I very much enjoy it so I'm playing BC more than a flanker than a spotter, it's too big for active spotting but I might be wrong

That's how I've been playing it on test server and its small profile with the p/w adventage really makes it enjoyable tank to play. I'm glad to hear some good feedback from a good player! Thanks

Camo difference between a Bat Chat 25t and AMX 13-105 is pretty minor, like less than 2% stationary and about 6% on the move base.  The 25t even has better view range.

The tier 10 lights do obviously have some camo and mobility advantages over tier 10 meds, but not enough IMO to balance out the firepower and HP disadvantages.

6% on the move base value is probably correct, but not with full camo crew.

its 2,6% stationary and 10,9% on the move.

Funnily enough, bat chat doesnt even have the best camo values at tier 10, Udes 15/16 has that - 39,2% stationary and 30,2% while on the move, but i dont use optics on my udes or bat chat, so i cant scout much :D
