Loving the WH 40k skin on the KV-2 ®.

Cant you guys do more like that for .. all tanks? :P or some at least?

Just do it.. look into my eyes and do it! Well you cant see them i suppose but they are blue and they are looking with intent, yes intently with much intent!

So do it.

Agreed.
Also, introduce the Baneblade, though it would probably have to be tier 25 or something...

Only if WoT follows the example set by Warships and provides us with the ability to switch off different skins instead of only allowing a blanket non-historical option. I don't mind a lot of the tank skins that look as though they were scribbled out by a toddler on a sugar rush who's been given a box of crayons but I draw the line at that 40k bobbins.

Hehehe, I guess that makes us polar opposites in taste then. I mind the 40k flavoured stuff a lot less than I do the hideous "early 90's tracksuit / bus seat covering pattern" stuff from those Twitch packages.

I would say that the Tank chosen for such a skin would need somehow have a resemblance with a tank used in the WH 40K universe. Any suggestion from your side?

Its totally fine to have a different taste and what you think is ok or not to see. I think you both would agree that a more detailed filter than the current one would be nice to have.

Yes.

But speaking of non/historical:

40k is actually historical.

It's stuff that'll be painted on tanks 38k years from now, and there's already stories/pictures/documentaries about it.

I still think we need Imperial Markings and an Imperial Gunnery Crew from the Deathstar FOR the Deathstar....     Maybe a little Theme Music at Count In, the Imperial March mayhaps....

Just doesn't seem Right looking at these guys and wondering Why no Shiney Black Helmets...????

Nice idea but I suspect the licensing fees from the House of Mouse could bankrupt WG.

Maybe could WG write something about the inflation over a 38k years span ?

A classic Space Marine Predator skin for the Chryster K could work. It had a round turret and the side weapon sponsons are optional, so they can be left out without any problems.

Tho I suspect many would welcome it. There are ofc licensing issues to consider, and if Games Workshop wants to work with WG again. It's why the Fury was never sold after it's first appearance for ages. WG was not allowed to.

At the same time we had the two skins here. WOT Blitz had the actually Predator and Vindicator as premiums. Tho, I doubt that would slide as well here as we have seen before. So I suspect they would have to stick to skins.

Tbh, it would indeed be simpler if you could mark what you did not want to see out of the default list based on themes. If you don't mind the CW, twitch stuff or even seasonal skins. But hated the football skins. Just turn those off. Same with emblems and inscriptions. Don't mind the WG fest stuff, but hate the Sabaton stuff. Then turn that off too. As I still want to see some stuff, even tho it's unhistorical. As I don't get why most stuff are marked as such. Heck even the Sentinel emblems from the actual squads are marked as unhistorical.

The MS-1 kinda looks like a grot tank:

The Pz III/IV can become a Predator:

 The S-51 for Basilisk:

And ARL V39 as a "Destroyer":

Also the FV183 or Bobject may be able to pass for a Shadowsword but that would be a stretch.

I strongly agree with this.

More settings to turn off skins than we presently have.

Personally I would turn off all the Warhammer 40K skins, the football skins, the WG fest, some of the Christmas skins and the twitch stuff.

But in the present un-historical list there are skins that I rather like and think suit the tank. More choice please to turn off skins if more skins are incoming.

True, there are quite a number of skins which are "plausible" but not historical. I don't mind those much but these eye bleeding camp's with bright colors, stupid designs (4 leaf clover among others) and other garbage is something I'd rather not see.

The lunar camos we recently got, I find them quite ok and they are placed as nonhistorical but way better than most of the other non historical skins.

Ohh, please do go ahead and make the filter and happify Strappster; I doubt I would use it, though. Occasionally exclaiming "Holy Expletives From Above, that is ugly! What were they thinking?!" can function as a stress relief as well. :D

No difference having fantasy camos in a game where 60% of the tanks never existed.
