Just glancing Twitch while having some lunch. Poor Orzy, well, maybe he was a naughty boy.

Better watch out boys! Don't be this guy! :D (Sorry Orzy but it's kinda funny)

O ya and the point lol. I pretty much assumed that the report system did nothing at all and that bans be it game bans or chat bans were a direct result of automated detection and/or players sending replays with tickets, never as a result from those in-battle reporting options.

Then again, perhaps this was what cause a ban in this instance too, and he just THINKS it's from lots of players reporting him for playing a Chieftain I think he recons. Banned for playing a Chieftain? lol! sure.

Never been locked out of the game. Always wondered what it looked like.

Now that was funny.... Presume it was on a live stream which makes it even funnier.

I mean before the leeway for false reports. I'm sure most recall that we had 5 topics a day about people getting banned for unsportsmanlike conduct. But now as they do consider false reports, they did disappear. As that one report we got here and there won't matter as much.

As for him? I'm guessing his style of play farms a few reports here and there too, as we all do. But I had him on my team more than once. And on several of them he has fallen back as the flank was a 3 vs 7 etc. They would die regardless, so he ran to join up with the others to keep his gun in the game. He got reported by both he left as they did rage in chat. When you farm MOE on top of it, I suspect you get a few like that more so then we do.

I had the bad fortune last night to have the same player 3 times who went back of the map, trash talked everyone and then drowned himself or in ruinberg where he could not drown he simply left the battle.  he never fired a single shot

I did report him in each battle but I also sent all 3 replays in to support on a ticket.

personally I doubt anything will happen but sometimes you just get triggered by someone

I had a reply from WG after reporting with a replay and they categorically said it is all handled by an automatic system and no need to send in replays.

So yes, the in game reporting system does nothing and sending in tickets is pointless as they admit they don't look at them.

Do you think a player can actually get banned wrongly if enough noobs wrongfully report a player for "unsportsmanlike conduct" across enough battles?

I would have guessed that the report system works by reports vs battles played basis and not a reports per day basis, since obviously we have players that play lots of battles a day and players that barely play at all so the guy that plays a lot gets screwed. I have no idea what way the report system operates though.

No.  Just makes him feel/look better to think/say that.

More likely it was a pushing replay to CS.

The clip of what he did is currently the second most watched clip of his in last 7 days. Fitting title as well on the clip.

And yes, it was for pushing and frankly well deserved ban. Sad thing is that people thought it was funny when he did it but hey, that's just normal Twitch chat fanboys I guess.

Back in the days, I got banned for 24 hours because of unsportsmanlike conduct, after ammo-racking T110E4 from full HP with my E-50M in CW battle. When I asked about it from the customer support, they told me they are not going to tell me what I did wrong but I must have deserved the ban.

Yeah didn't want to link it, for obvious reasons :D

Also, looking at people who are reading the thread :hiding:

If you continue to watch the stream a bit when he gets banned, he sends a PM to WG CM apparently, asking for them to lift the ban.

Is he still a Community Contributor?  In any event he's super lucky they didn't make an example of him with a much longer punishment.

I'm not sure. If he is then I would fully support of making an example out of a CC breaking in game rules. But then again it wouldn't be fair to get different punishment for the same offense.

Well. I remember that i reported someone once, i blocked his shoot by mistake (he was driving fv 4005 and i know how it feels with long reload), then i apologized from him, but he pushed my tank in front of enemies until they destroyed mine.

When i checked his account's last battle after reporting, he was locked for 5 days. :hiding:

He live streamed his misdeeds.  Not good PR and as far as I know WG could make streaming very difficult for him if they really took exception.

You mean for WG or for him? Cause I got the idea that his actions were actually supported in the live stream so it wasn't bad for his PR, maybe got him more ''street cred'' among Twitch chat. For WG, yeah it's bad PR to have their CC breaking rules. But at least he got banned. Lifting the ban would be a huge mistake by WG staff to do though.
