screw you wargaming, you and your pathetic business model of these hopelessly useless free XP sinks, if i was a new player my "adventure" with this game would have ended right there.

Mobility killed that thing off for me, even elite. Not the stock grind. As tbh, that tank has a rare thing in WOT. Most top modules make it worse. The stock and middle guns are the same guns used on the two tier 8 Premium HT's. And 212 stock pen is not bad for a tier 8. The stock turret is the same as on the M4 45 too. Just worse traverse and view range. DPM is still higher on the 65t even with that one. Thus, that's the setup I played with it. Stock turret and the 100mm gun. As the top turret is massive, and got penned constantly on a ridgeline vs the stock one.

But as I said, it was the mobility and the top speed that was half vs the one listed that made it trash. You barely see 25 or higher on it.

Yeah like Balcora said, the speed is awful, and "top" modules, wtf?? One of many evidence that they dont play their game.. Btw I played it mostly in FL thank God

How do you play it in FL ? I've tried yesterday as I don't really want to grind it in FFA, but the damn slow speed make it almost impossible to reach any fight in time.

yeah, mobility is bad, but how about 3 seconds aiming time for 300 dmg at tier 8, with hidden gun stats that make the aiming time effectively more like 8 seconds

Lol, yeah it is like that sometimes, but its not that tragic, what I meant to say is that the speed for that armor/no armor is pathetic, something like Tog, but the Tog is something else.. Anyway I was less upset at least, for bad games in FL..

Total waste of time since the tier 9 (the one that everybody hypes up) sucks as a heavy tank, since everyone spams gold at you, therefore your armor is worthless.

Having no side armor means that arty will have a field day.

Very situational tank,if you are top tier in 3-5-7 and there are no arties or max 1,and nobody shoots gold at you,and all the enemies are in front of you and don't flank you, then you will have a good time

The only problem is that happens once every 100 games.

Can't speak about the tier 10 since i haven't played with it but it won't be much better in any case.

This is why I gave up grinding all together. The stock tanks are so pointless and disguisting it's just not worth it. It's supposed to be a fun game, not a job

Totally true. WG should make every tank enjoyable at the very least. What kind of businessmodel wants to make customers suffer?

None of my friends made it past tier 5 before quitting the game, exactly because of this reason.

To each their own, AMX 65t was a much more pleasurable grind for me than the T32 was. In a 100+ battle grind in the T32 I didn't even manage to win 4 out of 10 battles, despite a higher average dmg, WN8 and XP than on the 65t.

Ah, so you had fun with the 65t, now try the Type 4 Heavy grind without premium/free exp.

i am currently playing T-44 stock with the 85mm and I gotta tell you 144 pen at tier 8 is unheard of. Full gold is the only choice and even then you only get 194 pen.

I played it but only at the start. It works quite well on the start maps in almost all cases and the only problem you have is if you actually manage to survive as it would take too long to get to the next important position.

You don't start with it. You wait to see what map and side you get on. Then you can pick a better spot to spawn on later to get more out of it. Like when defending you have more options. Vs when attacking. As when attacking there are not many good lanes for that thing.

Balc0ra advice probably better than mine so use it. I just found a way that worked for me. Semi-interested in which start map it doesn't work on as to me in all cases for the start map the spawn is not far from the base and there is a position near the base where "tanking" a few shots in a heavy helps the team. Like I said my biggest problem was actually what to do if I survived.

Some games aim to make money by providing good player experience and nice content. Others hope to make some money by having you skip their [edited]content entirely.

Luckily the M4 51 makes up for the suffering. Very comfortable tank.

One of the few tanks I ragesold in the last 3 years - if not the only one. It's as sluggish as it gets, and it feels as if it's too big to make use of most ridgelines that would otherwise be usable by most tanks in the game - and it doesn't have a good enough UFP to compensate for that, like a Conqueror would, for instance.

First turret, second gun: very doable.
