Hey guys!

Can't decide on which tank to pick, for Ranked.

I've played the M48 Patton in all 20 qualifier matches, and it felt really nice so at first I thought let's keep that. But on second thought the difficulty in qualifiers is very easy in comparison to later stages of all of the real chevron grinding divisions...

Therefore, maybe better pick something else, but what? :)

I have more or less only tech tree tanks to choose from.

Though thankfully almost all of them, ready with alright crews and equipment.

Long story shortened:

Which one would you pick, if you had to choose only one Tier X for Ranked??

(Tech tree only, please.)

Heaviums could be a best bet and then those certain class mediums where 430U for example belongs to. For LTs you unfortunately have to be quite good to get them working in RBs. I've played EBR and the ones I meet in the enemies haven't done great so it has been an automatic advantage for our team in those matches. Arty is also a decent choice but bit hard to gather enough exp to get consistent chevrons.

Depends on what you like, really. I mostly played my M60 in the qualifiers, went with TVP for after. It's a bit awkward on some maps, but for me it works in the sense that when I see a game go south I dump a clip at a bunch of low hp tanks, kill at least two and that by itself already pretty much has you safe for not losing a chevron, no matter whether you survive doing it.

Id pick 430u, Progetto 65 or IS-7 most likely.

But the most important element is which type of tank you perform well in.

I'd pick these:

HT: S.Conq, IS 7, 277, wz 5a.

MT: 430U, Udes 15/16, Progetto, STB-1.

LT: 100LT, EBR 105.

Best choices, SPG and TDs are map dependent, so don't pick them.

TVP is pretty good due to the clip..BUT it's like butter so you need to know your flanks well

Ranked is more about damage and blocking damage tbh, HTs are best choice.

Autoloaders/reloaders are good to play, but it's really hard to perform well in some maps, especially if your team is losing.

Everyone to their own I suppose.

Whatever you play best.

I would not pick heavy tanks unless you have a chieftain or are very good with heavies. Progetto is really good if you know how to play it as well.

EBR is also good but very easy to just go and die in the first minute or 2.

Avoid TVP or any other paper meds like Leo 1 , they are really hard to play. Armor is meta so either 430u or something with turret armor like stb-1.

Thanks guys, I've decided to roll with the 430U for now.

So far: two wins out of six battles, coulda been worse. :P
