Hi all! I would like to ask a few questions to WOT developers, programmers and WOT team, but  i have not found direct contact and i would love to hear the answers to these questions how would i know what can be expected from the game in the future and what is the purpose of some of the current rules:

 

What is the purpose of RNG mechanics at a distance of 2 to 10 meters, how is it possible to miss at such a short distance when the projectile barely escaped from the barrel?

 

What is the purpose of making large maps like those in Grand Battles and Frontline modes when many tanks are very slow and crashing from one zone to another as well as the difficulty of pulling those defending and why they are made keeping in mind that the view range is very small relative to the size of the map so players go like geese in the fog to the point zone?

 

Why instead of RNG mechanics  the mechanics of shooting should not be introduced considering that you are making an RNG generator so that over 150-200 meters there are a lot of misses and I do not know at all what the purpose of shooting is, as it is aimed only for shooting and not to hit the target , as well as having a lot of paper tanks that you make to have large or rounded bounce zones at the corners or, for example, ebr and other wheeled vehicles, keeping in mind that every other shot in them is bounce or critical damage, as if their the wheels absorb everything vividly or when there is damage it is just a dish an wheel that goes from left to right why they don't fall off and why their precision in motion is so great, is it for fear that they will miss a lot and that no one will play with them because they are soft like paper, so it is a better solution to be ghosts that all spot?

 

What is the purpose of shooting vehicles on wheels given their speed and that the turret does not rotate at any speed so that it can follow their path, let alone shoot them with the certainty that they will be hit, RNG and speeding targets somehow they don't go together?

 

What is the purpose of changing the ammunition characteristics as well as the size of HP, you are certainly aware that if there is more damage to standard ammunition and less damage to premium ammunition it will benefit and prolong the life of tanks with larger armor, especially heavier tanks such as Defender and the like?

 

What is the purpose of increasing HP, is there a need for the game to be even more arcade and solely convolutional by having players solely chase for as many fragments of the opponent's HP that these fragments will have less and less share in the overall HP of the opponent, is collecting so many shooting shortcuts as tanks are the main topic here?

 

What is the purpose of autospot mechanics at close range if one is behind an obstacle, is it not logical to just see the position of a tank nearby and not to have a visual representation of its figure as it is perceived through sound and not seen optically and why the view range does not would exist only for the direction in which the player is looking without receiving other information via the signal and the other only on the map from his teammates, not for some to see everything and some much less?

 

What is the purpose of limiting penentration for most tanks on lvl 10 to about 250 mm, with only a few privileged having penetration of 260 or 270, and how can a cannon having 120, 130 and 155 mm have the same penentration or that there is a disproportion as in the example that the obj 277 has a penentration of 260 almost 270 and has 130 mm and the same penentration have the t-62a and obj 140 a have a cannon of 105 mm, and the obj 430u has about 250 with a 125mm cannon, obj 705a having a cannon of 155m has penentration of 250, and for the long charge has more damage compensation, does that WG want to tell us that although TD and HT and have the same cannon of 155mm, Td can have a penentration of 300 and even 400mm, and HT with the same cannon have to have an average penentration of 250mm for lvl 10 so that it can be more bounce and TD to come and solve the situation ?

 

Which tanks may be available on lvl 10 or be rewarded as a lvl 10 tank given that the FV4201 Chieftain is known to have been inserted into the game and is known to have composite armor and is in the MBT core and inserted into the game as HT but it has all the features of MBT, why not include other MBT tanks and with a composite armor from a second generation tank like the T-64 that went into service the same year as the FV4201, AMX 30 and even before the STRV 103, do some have privileged status and others cannot be inserted since everyone is a second generation and bearing in mind that you did not want to be right go for tanks with composite armor and the FV4201 refutes that rule, so it's unfairly better than other lvl 10 tanks without having any real competitors because it's MBT?

Most of this can be written off with " its a game and not a simulator, an arcade if you will" and " game balance "
Also there's a slight hint of git gud in there.

As for the chieftain, any expert on them can tell you their specs better, but the turret we have in the cw chief is cast and only the later variants had stillbrew (composite)

This game is a very strange mix of a simulation and an arcade. As a result it is a terrible oversimplified simulator and an arcade with absolutely unneeded simulation aspects at the same time. What the developers need is to either make this game a full sim/full arcade or create two game modes.

That one is actually true, sometimes. I don't have a personal replay but I have seen a video from streamer 06walst where someone in an Arty killed himself because he hit a dead tanks gun which was more then a meter away from his own muzzle.

Just think of this game as a big corporate buisiness. Everything that happens is designed to make you part with your pennies...

 

Whether through frustration/Peer pressure/Prem tanks (Keeping up with the latest for the collection)/Stats/Marathons/RNG/Power creep/Imbalance/ etc...(The list goes on) the whole aim of the devs is to make you part with your money. (It never used tobe like that before it got really big and in return big revenue)

 

The game WAS!! great and could have been greater as they had a good solid base of players that would happily play away and pay....but over the years the greed

got so obvious that many players quit...

 

Thus what you have today are the die hards/Addicts/Trolls (On the forum)/The social...and the bored.

 

Shame really!!?...could have been a great game but for greed!!

 

 

....As for tank variety?...See 'Corporate greed' (Dont get me wrong it has a very good niche in the market but money guides fools hence the imbalance....Both players and the owners/Shareholders)

That's not what the OP is describing, that's just hitting a dead tank (and with HE you get splashed yourself).

The OP seems more like moving and then firing while braking (and nosediving).

God forbid videogames that have a mix of simulation and arcade.

You know, games like the entire Need For Speed series are totally not something like that. Not at all.

Hey HOMER, go look at mine replayes, and you will see a lot of wiered things. ive stopped with the replayes, coz WG dont care!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

OP is not describing, he is complaining in general :P

 

But what I mean is not "just hitting a dead tank" but instead "hitting the gun of a dead tank that is meters away from where your own is pointing and where you certainly were not aiming". Not everything needs to be met with "do you haz replay?"

 

But I'll find the video, it is a good watch anyway
